    On 6-26-2024 my house and property were damaged due to being stuck by a tree during a wind storm. This damage was to my front wall and wrought iron, brick stairway and wall, a section of chain link fence and gate, various porch items, and vinyl siding-trim-******************** in the front section of my house. ******************** was contacted concerning this damage and a police report was filed. Several contractors were contacted and estimates for the damages were submitted to my insurance company. I received a check for the damage and all repairs were complete except work to my house. Jose Contractors Inc. submitted a proposal for $1,900.00. After numerous calls they failed to come to do the repairs. I have contacted other contractors to complete this job however their proposals are much higher than the one given by Jose Contractors Inc. ******************** has closed my case based on the proposal given by Jose Contractors Inc. who refuses to make the repairs.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,


    I am writing in response to the complaint filed by Mr. ***** regarding Jose Contractors. The allegations that we failed to complete repairs on his property are entirely false and unfounded.


    Mr. ***** contacted our office in early July to request an estimate for minor vinyl siding and gutter damage caused by a storm. I personally visited his property and provided a detailed written proposal within three days of our meeting. Subsequently, Mr. ***** contacted me once by phone with questions about the estimate, which I addressed promptly.


    At no point was our company formally hired by Mr. ****** We did not receive a signed contract or any further communication indicating that he wished to proceed with the proposed work. As such, Mr. ***** was never placed on our work schedule, and no agreement for repairs was established.


    It is troubling that this complaint has been submitted, as we went above and beyond to provide a prompt response and a thorough proposal. Our company had no involvement with ******************** claim or any decisions made by his insurer. The responsibility for ensuring timely communication and agreement to move forward with the work rested with Mr. ******
