    Since 2017 PagerDiect has billed me about $140 per year which my wife has paid. It turns out that I never signed up for this service, it provided a pager number that was never used, and they have refused to refund my approximately $500 in charges. I do have a pager service MySecretaryUSA that bills me monthly, and provides the correct pager number for my patients. Scam or mistake? I do not know, but I am out $500 in either case.Dr. B, *********, **

    ******************* had in fact signed up for service in 2017. When he contacted us, he was adamant that he never had service with our company. We discovered that he signed up for service in 2017 and not only did we provide a copy of this order via email to ******************, We also included email correspondence between him and our company confirming the order and how he wanted the pager service configured to ring to his personal cell phone as this was a virtual paging service where notifications went directly to his phone.His account was paid each year when presented with a bill detailing his service, pager phone number and payment period. There was no communication disputing this bill and was paid each year until he contacted us by phone on 3/14/23 telling us he never signed up for service with us. We were actually dumfounded to hear that after 6 years of paying a bill, a customer would tell us they never signed up for service. This would be the equivalent of signing up for cable service and paying the bill for 6 years and then calling the cable company and not only stating that they never used the service but never signed up for it in the first place. At first we thought this may have been a fraudulent order but confirmed the order was made by the customer, all addresses, email and payment information matched up.Unfortunately, if there was a miscommunication between ****************** and his wife who paid the bill regarding signing up for service and continuing to pay the bill, we cannot take responsibility nor offer a refund as we provided the service that was ordered and paid the paging carrier for this service since January 2017. This is clearly a case of a customer not taking responsibility for their actions and trying to pass the blame to us. This is also the reason we do not accept phone orders, so that we have a clear and specific online order paper trail to substantiate customer disputes and eliminate fraudulent transactions.We can appreciate that a major error was made by the customer but we are unable to accept responsibility in this case.PagersDirect Support
