  Would also give zero stars if I could. Charge $450 to do my taxes. Did not ask one question or dig to find out if there were any more deductions I could take. I owed $1900 this year. More than last year and I made less money!!! I did my own taxes with Turbo tax last year and it only cost me $40 with better results. Wish I researched and saw these reviews beforehand.

  We at CSI Group do our best to satisfy the needs of our clients and prospective clients with the best service possible. During the appointment, the Preparer explained to the client very clearly as to why she owed more this year compared to previous years. Mainly, it was due to her capital gains due to stock sales. In addition, we explained to ************** the fees for services upfront. She agreed and paid at the time of her appointment. During the appointment, we review all possible deductions with each individual client. In this case, we did the same and as a result, we were able to take advantage of itemized deductions for **************, rather than taking a standard deduction, resulting in a better outcome for her.There were no additional questions asked by ************** during the appointment. If there were, we would've addressed each one. Even after the appointment, if there were any questions or concerns, we would've been happy to address them. The client agreed on the rate and gave the approval to proceed with filing the return with no hesitation. If at any point there were any concerns on the rate for the services, the amount owed to the **** etc we would've addressed them.

  Sat down to do our taxes and was quoted $375 as a price. Seemed a little high but it was a little involved due to an out-of-state condo sale so I paid it. Said we would receive a call in a couple days upon its completion. I called several times and was advised that my taxes were being worked on. After speaking with a supervisor and over a week later, i called and my taxes were finally done. Heres the kicker. The *** misquoted me the price for completing my taxes. An additional $500 dollars was added to my $375. So now my taxes are being held hostage unless I pay an additional $500 dollars. Oh, and did I mention, theyre cutting me a huge discount! Normally its $750, but I guess they felt sorry for me and made it $500. What company does this? I believe this is in retaliation for leaving negative feedback and being a pain in the **** constantly calling for an update due to their lack of communication. Needless to say this is not sitting well with me and I will continue to explore other avenues until an amicable settlement is reached. For the first time in my life I truly feel as though Ive been unjustly discriminated against. This is not the end of this matter

  On behalf of our entire team at CSI Group, wed like to offer an apology for the experience Mr. ********* had with our company. This is not indicative at all of the excellent services that we strive to provide to our customers. We strive for 100% accuracy. As our company evolves, were always looking for ways to improve to continue our growth and success, which includes improving our procedures to insure improvement from previous tax seasons. There was an error on our part when quoted the original rate of $375, and to rectify the situation we did adjust the rate by giving Mr. ********* a discount. We can assure that there was or is absolutely NO discrimination or retaliation happening in this matter. There was a quoted mistake, a solution and services were rendered per Mr. *********** approval. We have been transparent with Mr. ********* regarding the error and the solution. The option to decline the filing of his return was given and a full refund would've been issued. However, Mr. ********* agreed on the discounted rate in addition, giving us approval to proceed with the filing of his taxes. At this point, there is nothing that can be done as services have been rendered by Mr. *********** request. Once again, we apologize for his less than satisfactory experience and would welcome any further feedback that can help us improve in the future. We value our client's opinion and hope to have the chance to serve him again and provide the high standards of quality we are known for.

  I would recommend that you stay away from this business. They keep sending me solicitations in the mail year after year about tax preparation and financial planning and I keep mailing the solicitations back with a request that they delete me from their mailing list. The refuse to do so, wasting paper, natural resources and time. This is nothing more than a churn 'em and burn 'em type of organization, possibly more annoying than a shoddy used car dealership. If I could give them a negative star I would.

  We at CSI Group do our best to satisfy the needs of our clients, prospective clients or non-clients with the best service possible. In regards to this complaint, we purchase a direct mail list of addresses from various direct mailing companies. When notified by someone to be removed from the list, we do so by removing them from the list. However, these services are auto-generated and sometimes out of our control. We understand that receiving unwanted mail can be frustrating. Being added to the Do Not Contact list doesnt always ensure theyll be removed from each and every mail houses or ********************** service providers. If there is any other way that we could be of assistance to close out this matter, please dont hesitate to contact us.

  If I could leave 0 stars, I would have. The absolute WORST tax prep experience I have ever encountered. Drove 35 minutes to get taxes done, and their system was down. It was the 15th, taxes had to be in on the 18th. Told me they would call later on that day. Nothing. Called 3 times on the 17th, and was prepared to drive back up there to finish and have them filed. Told me if I wanted to sit with the same accountant, I would have to put an extension in and make a new appointment. Would have taken about 15 minutes to finish. The accountant that took my initial information didn't even have the courtesy to call me back. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

  We apologize that your experience was not up to your standards. We do our best to make sure every client's experience is a positive one. Unfortunately, on this day our systems were down and were completely out of our control. We didn't want to give you false expectations of being able to file your taxes on time as there were only a few days to be completed. As a courtesy, we offered an extension that we would've done on your behalf so there wouldn't be any issues with the **** Thankfully, with our team of experts and staff, we were able to complete your taxes on time before the deadline. We've been waiting for your return call to review prior to submitting. Again, we apologize that your experience wasn't satisfactory, but we hope that every effort was made to ensure that our services were done in an exemplary way.

  I've recently used CSI Group for my taxes as my accountant that I've used for years is soon to retire. He had recommended CSI to me and I was very happy that he did. From the initial call for an appointment to my interactions with the **** I was very happy with the service. In addition, my taxes were completed much faster than expected. I will be returning to CSI in the future.
