    I am currently sick and have been sick for over 2 weeks from renting at ***************************************, which is a property managed and renovated by this company. When I moved in, the apartment was filthy. Baseboards were extremely dirty, covered in hair, dirt and cigarette butts. Walls were covered in strange orange dust. There were holes in window screens and holes in the wall. There was no hot water for showering and the washing machine ruined many of my clothes from previous use. I became very sick in the rental and when I brought the issues up to the landlord, they werent properly addressed- he also stopped responding - only answered me to ask when Id be moving out. I had the county health inspector by and when we needed to look at the garage (its a garage apartment), he wouldnt let the inspector in and didnt answer the phone. Im extremely frustrated because not only am I renting this studio garage apartment for $200 over the asking price, it wasnt in good condition to move in and Im sick from living there. I am now spending all of my time and energy to try to avoid the apartment which means having to work outside the house (I work from home) - Ive had to spend money on urgent care, eating meals outside the apartment, gas from driving around to avoid being there, urgent care bill, etc. Not to mention the time and energy Ive put into contacting mold inspectors, the town, etc.
