      Diid not stick to our agreement. Was charged 209$plus on a 40 dollar membership. Manager was rude and dismissive. To cancel I had to pay a106$ cancelation fee. Which they even make that very difficult to do. This was do in just the first 2 months.

      Very bad customer service.. The back office doesn't even wants to listen to your complaints. No one wants to speak to you too rectify mistake.. Just email..I am so disappointed that I joined Jersey strong

      Jersey Strong doesnt deserve even one star but its the only way I could start my comments. The day I joined the gym on Rt 35 in Wall I was told there is no contract involved but if I didnt remain membership for 12 months I would be charged the enrollment fee of $100 dollars they waived. Told I would get 25 guest passes but weeks later told one individual could only use 3 of the guest passes. I would have to have 9 different people to get the benefit of the 25 passes. I was not given any paperwork other than the schedule of classes. In May I froze membership because of back pain issues and was paying approximately $10 a month. In November I was charged the full membership fee and was told by *** Fitness Solutions that it was frozen for only 5 months. I advised them to refreeze and confirmed the frozen months counted for the 12 month requirement for the enrollment fee to be waived if i canceled membership. I was told yes. On November 30 th I received notice that a $75 renewal fee (for maintenance) would be due the next day. I called *** to cancel. They wanted to unfreeze so I could cancel on line but I said no because I figured they charge me a full months fee and said I wanted it canceled immediately. I was then advised the frozen months did not count and would be charged $100. I sent texts to a representative then a supervisor requesting charges be waived and given apologies for the confusion. The confusion was not on my part and they would not waive fees. I even sent a request to the *** but only received a reply from the same supervisor. I had spoken to *** to have them make note of non payment as I was disputing and was told I was not allowed to cancel via phone and I had to give 15 days notice to cancel membership. The $100 and $75 charges stand. They claim I was an inactive member while membership frozen but they can renew my membership while inactive. Please find an honest gym if youre looking to join one.

      Member for years . Horrible customer service policies . Everything is referred to corporate for responses. Recent switch to open door app nightmare, especially if you dont want to use your phone over years place has gotten dirty. Will not return calls.. will move to a new gymn . ***************************

      They tell you you can cancel your membership anytime but give you a massive headache when you try to . You have to email corporate and they ask for a note saying you are permanently disabled to cancel your account . I also signed up for personal training to try out and they told me I can cancel anytime . Never gave me a copy of my contract in hand and when I tried to cancel told me it was a year contract and I needed a doctors note to cancel and with that note they will cancel my whole membership . They charge you when you dont even attend personal training. I was charged $360, $60 and $23 all in one month from this gym . I couldnt attend due to a medical condition NOT permanently disabled but still will not cancel unless it said I was permanently disabled . I was willing to just keep my membership but cancel personal training . Nope they said they need a permanently disabled note and they would cancel both . They need tor evaluate their cancellation policy because it is totally ridiculous .

      They told me I could cancel my membership with no charge when I signed up. When I cancelled I was charged $100. They said look at the written terms even though they told me something different verbally.
