    I hired the company to demolish my rotten deck. This was to be paid by my bank under the terms of the mortgage. During the demo, I mentioned I was going to be rebuilding it as soon as possible as I had money set aside for it. ********************* was there and was the gentleman I was talking to. He stated he could get the deck rebuilt in a week. This was on November 19th, 2022, and payment was made by cashier's check. He stated he was going to take care of everything to get the deck up to code. I took that to include the permits needed to build. On December 6th, 2022, I returned to the house to find a cease construction order on the door due to no permits. Permits were not even applied for at this point. The deck is still not built. I texted and called he immediately. He stated he will call the town to get the permits in the morning (this was after 5:30pm) and that he will meet with me on Thursday morning to discuss the rebuild. He did not show up Thursday morning while I was there from 7am to 11am with another company installing a fence. I texted him again, telling him I needed to speak to him in person Friday evening between 5:30 and 6pm. I was at the house from 5:13 to 9pm that night with no response from him and he did not show again. At that time, I sent him an email demanding the money I gave him be returned immediately. He texted me Saturday morning, calling me the completely wrong name (my name is *** and he was calling me *******), and stated he was going to call me to explain what happened. I told him to read the email I sent and any phone calls will be going to voice-mail. I have not heard from him since then. He never even attempted to call me.
