    Michael's Chimney Service, LLC ***********, ** ***** To Owner,I contracted Michaels Chimney Service, LLC for servicing of my chimney, installation of lining for the hot water vent and fireplace on 6/12/2017. The work was completed on 6/29/2017 with payment in full. During the winter and spring, we noticed increased smoke and soot throughout the house. We consulted the insurance company for a claim to an extensive damage of property. We finally resolved most of the repairs. In a repeat inspection of the chimney prior to use, it was noted that the liner was not insulated and was 63% smaller than the required size for appropriate ventilation and code specification. It was also noted that the supporting top plate of the liner and chimney caps were not adequately secured and are damaged. I would like to request a resolution of these deficiencies without delay and added cost. I will also reach out to the **************** and ************** for additional assistance due to companys failure to perform services per code and jeopardizing the health of my family. This is a significant concern due to lack of companys concern for health and well-being of the customer and their property.
