What a HORRIBLE property management company. The real estate agent/landlord is not educated on real estate laws or tenant rights. They have no care or concern for their properties or tenants. ******** one of their recently purchased properties (violated my right as a tenant to purchase; TOPA) I was left without a stove or oven for 2 weeks. One was delivered from another unit of theirs, and it was left outside on my porch; in the rain and summer weather. When they finally had their maintenance install, it was done incorrectly, and the stove was holding water from sitting in the rain. i was told to "just keep lighting it, the water will dry up". A few weeks after, i realized it had been left outside in an attempt to de-bug it. I now have an infestation because the management company that "cares about their tenants" brought me a used, DIRTY, stove from one of their rental units. I had to clean food mess off and from inside the stove/oven. Rightfully, i withheld a portion of the following months' rent, because i had to use monies to purchase hot meals since i couldn't cook any hot meals in the house. "Managing Member" ***** decided he was going to file eviction. i haven't addressed about the ceiling caving in from water damage, or the waterfall that lived in my dining room, or the destruction of my personal belongings due to AEP, LLC neglect. i haven't talked about the recess lighting that has flooded with water numerous times; or that ***** and his team are non-responsive to tenants; or that the first interaction i had with this company, i was verbally assaulted and called out of my name by *****. ***** has sent multiple men to the property without notice; that's a safety issue. This company is absolute garbage. Accumulating slumlords who do not maintain the properties they own. I have occupied this property for 6 months, AEP has owned it for 3 of those months; they have yet to do an interior/exterior inspection which means they'll s**** me out of my security deposit.
