    I purchased a washer and dryer from the company, before I completed the purchase I asked if they could install a side vent on the dryer. Upon delivery my wife took the delivery. The installer her advised her I didn't need the vent which was agreed upon when I purchased the washer and dryer. I contacted the store they advised me they would send the install team back. Then i received a phone call about and hour later they stated they can't install the vent. I questioned the word can't the women stated that i didn't need it i advised her that is what i paid for. I then received a phone call they threw out the vent kit. I had to wait another month to be told the vent kit would not be installed. I also have not received the part which i was charged for. the job was not completed and the vent kit was 40 dollars plus 250 dollar install fee i want full reimbursement so i can get some one to finish the job.

    According to our installers, they were unable to install the side vent to his existing venting. As per our installer's recommendation, units do not need a side vent.   However, the installation team WAS able to install to the existing facility to operate the units properly. Installers discarded the vent but we ordered another one for customer with the understanding that ******************** will not install.  Customer was told by sales team and customer service that ******************** & Lindquist would not install the side vent therefore they would have to find a different company.  As a courtesy, we offered the customer a refund of half of the full installation which customer refused and informed us that he instead would write a bad review on social media. We have done everything on our end to assist the customer. We are sorry he was not pleased with our efforts.

    I am rejecting this response because: when I initially purchased the washer and dryer the company told me it would be no problem installing the side vent. Then they refused to install the item I also never received the side vent. They are lying by saying the vent wouldn't work I want my install fee back and my money back for a side vent I paid for. I guess it's ok to steal from customers.

    Initially, the sales team thought the side vent could be in place however the installation team is the one that assesses area and is able to decide if a job can be completed.  The installers agreed that customer needed contractor.  We try our best to accommodate needs however this job needs a contractor. Again, there is really nothing more we could do.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was charged for a part I never received and I also was charged for a installation that was never complete, I suppose I will have to go to smalls claim court and hopefully the business will be charged with theft of services which is a criminal charge.

    Customer did receive the installation of the unit and the part.  Again, we were unable to install the side vent however we did complete an installation. We offered a refund of half the installation but was denied by customer.  We can have our attorney contact customer directly to further discuss.
