  I hired ****** Rubiano to refinish my kitchen cabinets. I mistakenly accepted the fact that he had a business license and insurance, and it lulled me into a sense of confidence.He wrote up a contract, including the timeframe, which was two days for completion.Where do I start? First of all hes very loud, he is a blabbermouth and he is very large. What do those things have to do with his ability to paint my kitchen cabinets you ask, nothing really except everything when you question him about timeframe or anything else he gets belligerent he starts blabbering 1 million excuses and he gets loud. He brought to high school students that do the work I guess he didnt seem to do anything. Needless to say, the job did not get done. A week later I asked him to return the doors to my cabinets along with any paint I had supplied to him I paid him half the cost of the job, which was way too much for the crappy job he performed . Some of the doors had paint on them. Some of them didnt they were chipped they were sloppy when he sprayed the base pants there was overspray everywhere which meant I had to repaint my wall and luckily I had paint to do so. Bottom line as hes a liar, he will use every whiny little excuse under the sun that he can think of. He will call you so that his excuses and belligerent attitude is not exposed through a text message, although I have plenty to show that it was in fact. Clearly, his license should be polled. I wish I had done my due diligence like the other customers here not only is he an incompetent painter he has personality traits that are extremely unpleasant. I could go on and on most unpleasant experience in my life. I just wanted him to leave my home and never return.

  ********************************* should be out of business. We hired ***** in March 2022; he kept putting us off and finally started our job of repainting our kitchen cabinets in mid-May. ***** NEVER arrived at the time he said he would arrive; he was sloppy, there is paint all over our appliances, floor and other areas that were not properly prepped. We kept asking him to come back and finish the job - ie remove the paint from the areas that were not prepped properly and he ghosted us. When he finally came back he did a terrible job; we are still finding paint on areas and appliances! ***** always had an excuse about his poor work and not showing up. I should have known something was off when he asked me to pay him half of the price of the job up front "to pay for materials". ***** is a lazy scammer who does sub-par work and should have his license removed. I regret hiring him and should have done more research. The cabinet paint is already chipping; we will need to have the job redone within a year. ****** for all: just because a business has lots of insurance and official looking forms and marketing materials it does not mean the business owner has a solid work ethic or takes pride in their work. ***** seemed nice enough but he is lazy, unreliable and not at all concerned with the details like proper taping and painting of cabinets - the insides of the cabinets did not get two coats - he was at our house so long we just wanted him out and realized only after he was gone that he did not complete the job in the manner he sold to us. DO NOT HIRE HIM EVER!!!!

  im sorry you feel this way, i reschedualed job for you to allow flooring company and painter to work through our start date, upon start , i primed and applied 2 coats of paint and yes i did have over spray in areas which i came back for, if anytjing falls out of line months after install they could be readjusted and im willing 100% to return to address anything that will make you happy, please reconsider and let make any repairs needed , lets mske the new year right, and on good terms, ******
