I hired Mr. ******************* for an addition to my property for my elderly widowed Mother. **************** provided an itemized contract with the total price of the project but mentioned it would be in our best interest if we make payment in cash or he would have to charge additionally for taxes. **************** mentioned my mom "has money, seeing her old home". Few weeks later, the project started and the foundation was poured however, **************** requested additional funds. This was the first of many where we were asked to pay extra money in addition to the price agreed upon in contract. **************** requested we pay an additional several thousand for the pouring of the concrete, because he ordered the wrong amount needed ( 10 inches instead of the needed 10 inches). Every new stage of the project **************** requested additional funds 9K and 5k more. When we asked him to provide receipts on items for the recent payment he stalled and we had to ask several times. He then provided several receipts, upon reviewing the receipts we notice there were items brought that was not for our project (flooring, tools, as well as energy drinks and *********** At one occasion **************** showed me a few pictures of another project he was working on which was another home with identical materials, leading me to suspect our money was spent on other projects. When we refused to pay him any additional money he threatened to leave the job site in the middle of the project and refuse to show up. Once we paid the additional money in cash, he resumed the project but show up late or not at all. **************** and team intentionally sabotage the project costing more money to repair. Several of incorrect items were plumbing, window installation (causing water to leak and water penetrating into the rooms, installation of siding which was falling off because of improper initial installation, attic vent upside down, electrical issues as well as framing). His work consistently needed repeat edits.
