NJ Pipe Doctor oversold services, opened up financing in my name and lied about my income to ensure I would get approved for financing, never completed the services and basically has taken off with the money that was paid. I felt very taken advantage of by the employees due to irresponsibility, dishonesty and negligence on their part. It is apparent they work with a specific financing company that does not do income verification checks which feels very predatory in this whole scheme. The lender gets a customer and drowns them in the financing, and the dealer gets the money.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/15/2024

NJ PIPE DR was called on 7/7/2023 out to evaluate an issue with a clog that the customer was experiencing.

We offered the customer a solution, and we also offered financing to the customer. The customer has to provide information such as their social security number to complete the financing application. The customer is then sent an email which includes all of the details of the loan. The customer then has to e-sign the loan documents to verify that they are accepting the loan, along with the terms of the loan, which is emailed directly to customer. If there is any objection to the loan, the customer would not sign the documents and we would not begin the work. We received the signed loan documents from the customer and began the job.

All work that was stated in the contract was completed, aside from the install of the Novo water softener, which was scheduled for 4/15, the customer canceled that portion of the job on 4/13. We can refund this portion of the job. Which we have already let the customer know that we will be refunding that portion.

The customer was dealing directly with an employee that is no longer with the company, and once the customer reached out to the office directly, we immediately sent out our General Manager, who has visited Deanna on site, and will continue to work with Deanna. We take any dissatisfaction very seriously.

    Thank you,

    NJ Pipe Dr.
