    On 12/16/21 I won a storage unit at Treasure Island Storage- Woodbridge where I submitted a bid on Storage Auctions and won. Treasure Island Storage- Woodbridge is about ***** minutes from my home. At this location you have 72 hours to clean out the unit from the time the unit is won and $100.00 cleaning deposit. This location does not provide a code to the winning buyer for after hours access like some other locations. My business partner went to collect all the items and clean out the next day or the day after and I would pick up that Saturday due to closing times and our schedules. On my way to collect the deposit, I experienced car trouble and spoke with the young gentleman (Store Assistant) advising and asked if I could pick up the cleaning deposit next week because they were not open on Sundays and he said ok. I called later in the week and was advised by the Manager (Female) that I could not receive my deposit back because of the time frame. I asked where does it state in writing this information, she could not advise. I explained to her my situation - the distance and our work hours of not being able to get there before the store closed and she was not being understanding - she even called the company to block me because I challenged her to show me the information where it states I could not receive my deposit back. At this point I tried to find other options to contact the owners or higher up but no luck. I would like my cleaning deposit back. The unit was cleaned by contract and there was no legitimate reason to keep my deposit. I do have the pictures showing the unit was cleaned, I am looking for so please allow me some time to obtain. I was told that I could use BBB for assistance. Please help.
