    Beware of doing purchasing a pool from Pool Designs had a fiberglass pool installed 5/24/22 with a Hayward pool heater. ****** never worked since being installed was told 1-Filter was dirty 2-Gas meter needed to be upgraded 3- Regulator needed to be upgraded. We have had PSEG do up *************** still not operating this us the 2nd year. They will not replace the heater. Telling us to have Hayward repair since it is still under warranty ,however, we have never been able to use the heater.

    Dear ************:I am sorry that a manufacturer's issue on a heater has caused you to give Pool Designs a one star rating for the entire experience. I was advised yesterday of the issue and I am working on getting a representative from ******* to address the issue with the heater. I hope to have this issue rectified shortly and change you opinion of Pool Designs. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to simply disconnect a heater and replace it with a new heater, until the manufacturer determines that the entire unit is defective.

    I paid Pool Designs for a heater as an additional ************** never worked from the get go and you were informed of this several times and you made excuses. Pool Designs should have replaced it immediately & dealt with ******* directly.

    Unfortunately, the manufacturer requires that we take steps to correct the issue first, and if it is determined that the product is defective, we are authorized to replace the unit. I am informed that the manufacturer's service center came out and saw that the internal valve was turned to an incorrect position, which was corrected and the heater is now working as intended. I hope you enjoy the rest of your swimming pool season and the additional time of enjoyment your heater will afford you.
