I used the services of CACG, PC a little short of three years.

In winter of 2022 Sabine sent my tax return to me in an email as a password protected pdf, and then sent the password in the same thread of emails by responding to it. This does absolutely nothing to prevent potential hacking of email data while in transit. I brought this to her attention but she never responded.

In April 2022, after registering an LLC for me, she sent the paperwork to me as completely unprotected pdf files, no passwords, nothing. These papers had my social security number and the EIN number for my business. The following day I sent  her an email because I noticed that the Taxation and Revenue Department had misspelled my business name in the certificate. She responded “I saw that too - yes if they can fix it, let them know.”. In other words she saw that my business name had been grossly misspelled but she did not see it necessary to bring that to my attention. Also, how is she not aware that the Taxation and Revenue Department amends anything in your business registration that you need to amend? She chose not to provide accurate advice, as you would expect from your accountant, but instead decided to try to lead me to believe that the name possibly could not even be amended.

In the end of June I came to the conclusion that CACG, PC is not the right accounting firm for me. When I asked Sabine to send me all of my records and my final bill, she responded: “What records to you need me to mail you?”. After I explained to her that I need my accounting records either mailed or emailed to me, she sent all my records - again paperwork with my social security number, EIN number, my bank account numbers, my credit card numbers - in pdf files without passwords in an email.

Data security is an unknown concept at this firm as is courteous customer service.

This is in response to **********'s review of our firm - her statement that I sent the password for her tax return in the same email thread is not true. Client confidentiality and file security is one of our utmost priorities. We send encrypted pdf files whenever sensitive client data is involved and the password is provided in a separate email or via a phone call to the client. LLC paperwork is public information and did not include her social security number. The misspelled business name was an administrative error that happened on the ** TRD side. I informed ********** that I needed tax authorization to correct this error, and she decided to take care of it herself. When ********** decided to leave our firm, I released all pertinent bookkeeping information. None of this information included her social security number. ********** was always treated courteously.
