I agree the lobo canyon apartments are bad management.they make themselves look busy only when state comes around for inspection.after that back to the rudest management ever.i got evictions for trash outside my apartment as I lay sick in bed management knocks and telling me to pick up trash,I'm laying down yelling for her to call maintance for I ain't their employee.also this happened a month ago and just got notice Friday .went in office today(Monday)and was told if I don't like their rules I can move out.im 54,mind my own business stay indoor most of the time to avoid hateful management.last month got two evictions for non compliance in which I had complied weeks before notices.false evictions that stay on my record.this is wrong.accused of smoking marijuana which I don't smoke not even be cigarettes .I have more important issues inside my apartment that I've had to or over a year.and non compliance from management.walls falling down, floods Everytime it rains ruined furniture, mold .nothing has been done, but evicting me for someones trash outside.im to old for these child management to play "I'm in control games"with us disabled ,handicap tenants.seems to me it's all a power trip for them.its disgusting to see this in place of businesses .is there something anybody can do or help with these kind of situations.

Monarch Properties is untrustworthy and irresponsible with their residents credit. In 2022, I moved out of a ******** property and left my number, email and forwarding address. I was not notified of the final balance due until 3+ months after move-out when I got a letter from a debt collection company. In September of 2022, the regional manager confirmed via email the issue had been settled after my final payment. Monarch does not answer phone calls or emails. They are impossible to get in touch with. It took too long to have this issue settled Fast forward 2 years later and the same debt company put a note of debt on my credit report. Upon investigation, I discovered that regional manager, now the Director of Operations failed to inform the debt company that the issue was settled. Monarch reported the payment but not the confirmation of the settlement. Completely unacceptable! I called the Director of Operations for 3 days but did not hear from her until I emailed her for the 4th time saying I would be in touch daily until she sorted out her mistake. The following day, she forwarded a debt cancellation statement but refused to acknowledge her mistake. This irresponsible company should not be trusted with your personal information!

The residents of Brentwood Gardens are very unhappy with Monarch ******************** They won't deal with our work orders, and it is a very unsafe place to live. Zero security. I have had my car vandalized 4 ********* expect more. It is unsafe & dangerous. Management treats us like 2nd class citizens. This is a HUD facility. We are old & poor. But we do deserve some respect. My advice: Just don't move to Brentwood Gardens & don't deal with Monarch ********************

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK FOR!!!!Theres no diversity within this company. The regional manager ******** is extremely rude and does not care about you and will talk to you any kind of way. Family-oriented is a lie. I was the only leasing expected to complete recertifications that were 6 months + past due, answer phones, work move-in files, complete bank deposits, and program keys, give tours, respond to e-mails, and walk the units once they were moved out. ******** is a horrible leader and does not have the proper training to be a regional manager. If you speak out and ask questions to her expect to get retaliation taken against you. She will talk to you like the dirt on the bottom of her shoe in front of other colleagues. She also makes up policies that are not documented in the employee handbook. It doesnt even help to complain because the only person over ******** is her husband who is **** near the **** Many employees and former employees warned me of her and it took me experiencing it for myself when I finally realized they were right. ******** created a hostile work environment experience for me. Everyone that I have come across who has worked for this company never has a good experience so it isn't the employees. Managers dont ever stay. The leasing agents only get paid $12/hr. They want maintenance to clean the apartments that residents leave dirty & trashed whenever they move out and want them to do touch-*** and work orders. There is no training for managers. This company is shady and not reputable. The absolute ONLY perk for working for the company is you might be able to get a rent-free apartment.I'd give zero stars if I could but I wouldn't be able to post this review.

This is the worst place ever. The property managers are unorganized and charge late fees for no reason then evict you for their mistakes. They are very evil and look for the smallest reasons to evict you like having a mop on your balcony. They are constantly inspecting your apartment. Do not rent any apartments with these people! Im facing an eviction because the office was broken into and my money order was stolen. The manager at that time said she would credit my account. 4 months later I get an eviction notice for non payment and late fees for each month. I paid every month on time but the old manager didnt credit my account now the new manager is trying to evict me. I hate this place they are scammers!

They treat people like cattle. They look down on their tenants, and the way they set up moving in is horrendous. I was on the waiting list for 6 months. I regret moving from my wonderful condo where I was never late with rent, and I actually paid more there. They called me multiple times, and I passed up several apartments because they wouldn't let me see what the actual apartment I would move into would look like. I have a lot of bulky heavy furniture. I finally accepted one because the video they showed me --looked like a large 1 bedroom. It wasn't. So my furniture almost did not fit.I got less than 30 days to give my current landlord a notice.I prepaid everything months in advance--so I thought. It turns out there's a renters insurance they don't tell you about--it has to be paid the first week you're there. They charged me an additional couple of hundred in addition to the initial deposit the week before I was supposed to move in.And when it was time to move in-I had chosen to move in on my paydate-the 8th. paying rent on the 8th was not allowed, although they offered -3 days before the move-- to allow me to pay for a full month. but I had to pay 3 days before the move...Guess what folks...I prepaid everything that I knew about so I could focus on paying the movers. I DIDN'T have any more money to give. I should have been given this information up front. And as many times as I called, emailed and stopped by their office, none of this was discussed. So I have been late every month since I moved in, because I moved in on my payday-the 8th. I have paid the ****** late fee as requested, but ladies and gentlemen of Monarch properties--I still don't get paid until the 8th of the month. I am trying to purchase my dream home, but living here, I can't continue to save, and I have to pay a whole month's rent to break the lease, or get myself kicked out. Who needs that when you're negotiating a home purchase before the new year?
