    I had recurrent ant infestations while living there. There was a new manager every other month. Without explanation they increased the cost of the laundry from $1.50 to $1.60 - you need to buy a card to use the laundry, you can only put money on the card when the office is open (it frequently closes without warning or explanation during regular business hours and is closed nearly all weekend), and the machine only accepts 5, 10, or 20 dollar bills, meaning you will almost always have money on your card you can’t actually use (they are so exploitative they are milking you for literally every dime possible). The laundry room often closed before the posted time 7 pm with no explanation so that my laundry was locked in. God forbid you have a job during normal business hours and need to put money on your card so you can do laundry - it will not be possible. The people working there oar friendly and I like them as humans but this place is awful. There were countless large cockroaches despite me keeping my place meticulously clean. A week before I moved in they gave me a different unit than what I signed up for and when I arrived at the time I told them a month prior to moving in the maintenance person was still working on the place, there were no screens on the windows, and there were several other maintenance issues. The people above me littered cigarette butts on my patio and dropped glass shards all over my patio. The final straw prompting this review is they have the nerve to not return my security deposit despite the apartment being left in better condition than when I moved in, citing very clearly made up issues that conveniently amount to the exact penny of my deposit, including a $60.58 fee for “replacing blind slats” that were never damaged. Multiple phone calls to the listed number for questions or concerns were not answered, not returned, or else I was told to call a different number that also wasn’t answered or returned.

    We do weekly sprayings. Tenants sign addendums saying that if they have terrible living conditions they are responsible for their area as well as anyone else's area. If he caused an ant or cockroach infestations, he is responsible for that and for the apartments nearby him. He would have been charged for any apartments touching his walls.

    I'm not familiar with this person but I think this is what this is about.
