Estimate date: Fri March 22, 2024 for $3,68.05 Epoxy coating and floor removal April 1st, 2024 signed and paid invoice for half estimate: $1,842.52 April 15th floor removed without issue April 16th: Employee showed up an hour late. Design made on the floor drastically different than what was agreed upon. We experienced hostility from employee who installed floor. Owner agreed to replace floor free of charge. April 19th: Same Employee over 2.5 hours late. We called to confirm they were coming. They placed epoxy this day. April 20th: Employee came to place last layer of floor. He did not speak to home owners and did not alert them to completion of the job. When home owners realized he had left, a large defect was noted in a central walk way on the floor, as well as several areas of epoxy staining on the walls and stone fireplace. We called the employee within 1 hour of when he must have left and he was again very hostile and refused to return to review product with customer. April 23rd: Same Employee returned to house to address major defect in floor. At time, employee reported that we would need to redo entire floor to correct problem, yet simply applied more sealant. Business sent owners an invoice requesting over $1,000 more than what was discussed. Customer spoke with admin to address and paid agreed estimate price. We have spoken with the owner. He agreed to meet at the home and evaluate services/ product. Owner did not show up or call during time; however, sent an email the following Monday. I have experienced continued hostility in my meetings with employees of this business and have significant reservations about allowing them to attempt any additional corrections or to allow this hostile individual back into my home. I am not sure how to proceed with this business; however, there remains a large hole in my floor that is surrounded by a sticky coating, directly in front of a walkway. I would appreciate any direction of next steps. Thank you
