I hired this company to apply for grants for my business and a Woman-Owned Business license. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get the WOB license, and it has now been 6 months, and I still don't have it. I have reached out to the owner and the person I have been corresponding with, ******* ******, on multiple occasions. I asked for a refund on the WOB license on March 26th, 2024, and she said that she would attempt to figure it out again and give me a refund. I waited, and neither has happened. I then contacted her on April 1st, 2024, and said " This process has made me uneasy. I would like proof of receipt for all you've done. Please provide me with any email receipts the grants have sent you. Also, any login credentials and or copies of the applications you have submitted, including the Woman Owned Business. Please have this to me by Friday, April 5th. I would also appreciate a reminder of how to log into the client portal you provided." She responded by basically saying she may not be able to do that, but she'd try. I did not hear from her again, and I sent a reminder email that Friday afternoon. I hired her back in October 2023, and I have not seen any proof that she has done anything she claims to have done, nor have I received a grant or any emails from grants. (I have the emails but am not sure how to upload them.)

    Business Response

**** contracted me to work with her on grant submission, small business coaching and to help her obtain the woman owned business certification. We started working together last fall (2023) We started submitting grants right away and shortly after that began going through the process of preparing and obtaining what was needed to apply for the woman owned business certification. One of the requirements is to have a entity unique identifier, for which you have to apply for through ******** . The challenge I encountered was that they were not verifying Energy of Truth, so we could no move forward to the next stage in the process. I followed up multiple times and the response was processing, however after about a month or two **** indicated in one of our meetings that she wanted to pause any future grant submissions until the certification had been obtained. Months passed and still Energy of Truth was not verified. **** and I spoke recently via email, where she requested a refund for the certification portion on the payment she made. I explained to her that I had 2 other clients around the same time with newly developed businesses that had a similar problem, but, after a few months, I resubmitted for verification with **** and their verification process went through right away enabling me to get their unique identifiers and continue with the process. I asked **** to give me the opportunity to make this right, this is not how the process usually goes, it is usually much faster. I told her I could resubmit for verification to obtain the number and submit for certification, if there was no action within  a reasonable amount of time, I would refund the certification amount. She agreed and I started the process right away. A few days later **** contacted me concerning the grant submissions and the email confirmations I received at the time. I explained that I usually do not keep that kind of information for months and months, after a certain amount of time it gets deleted, but that I would go through my emails and whatever I find I would forward over to her. She requested by Friday, which is my short day, a few days later I received the notification of the BBB complaint.

My goal is for every client to be satisfied with the services I provide them, not to have challenges like this. I understand how **** could be feeling uneasy, this is why I wanted to have the opportunity to resolve this and follow through with what was started. I already submitted anew request which you can see in the items I uploaded, and I have more proof but this system would only allow me to upload a few items. Let’s come to a mutual agreement. **** already agreed to allow me to proceed, I am confident the unique identifier will be issued so the certification can finally be submitted. I will put ****** email address on the application so they can email her directly for peace of mind and verification purposes. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to respond.

I am trying to resolve this with Divine Inspiration Business Services LLC, however my original email requesting proof that grants were submitted have not been met. It is not plausable that the proof of these submissions have completely vanished. I now have proof that the WOB certification was RESUBMITTED however no proof she did it prior to the BBB complaint. I have asked that proof be sent and asked again for the grant submission proof. I feel it is fair to have proof that what I paid for did take place. If proof can not be provided than a full refund should be issued.
