      This is in relation to the health center on ****** **** ** *** **** ****.
      They have completely incompetent ***** staff there. Do not use this facility.
      I had an appointment there and received my appointment reminders and "check in" notices in my text and email . I did check ion online as requested. I live over 45 min drive away from the location, but thats the one i was referred to as there are no facilities in my town.
      So i drove all the way up there and the receptionist tells me she cannot find any appointment for me. I showed her the appt confirmations on my phone. She says oh it must have been cancelled. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION from them that the appointment was cancelled.
      I explained that, showed her there were no messages on my phone from them and that i just drove over 45 min to get there. She had me wait a bit and then sends someone else out, who **** and insists that she called and left message about cancellation. She also has the nerve smile through her lying teeth about this, while saying why dont I just reschedule, as me
      if this is no big deal. No apology or acknowledgment that they made the mistake of not notifying me.
      Because of this Lovelace now OWES me $50 for my time off work and the gas money i spent going all the way up there for NOTHING. I will file suit if needed and if i every get any bills from them i will be withholding that amount and they WILL NOT BE PAID regardless of collections action etc. Again, completely INCOMPETENT STAFF HERE.

      I took my 88-year-old mother to Lovelace west side in *********** hospital emergency room because she was suffering from severe, shaking and tremors, she was totally delusional and hallucinating, and hadnt slept in days! We made four trips to the emergency room there and they couldnt find anything! On the fourth visit, we saw a doctor **************** who is extremely condescending and rude!!!! He told us that they had done all the tests they could, and then he said she needed to seek mental health services!!!! ?? the next day we went to a different hospital and they discovered she had a severe UTI infection!!!!! I could not believe that they could not figure this out at Lovelace *****************!!!! This doctor should be reprimanded for his unprofessional behavior and diagnosis!!!! This was the worst experience we have ever gone through at any hospital.!!! he is putting patients in danger with his diagnosis as this is a common occurrence with elderly females!!!! they seem to have ran every test imaginable, but didnt do a urine test!!!!!! I am furious with them and will never go there again, and Im telling all people in this area to avoid going to this place.! the nursing staff was nice to us but Dr. ************** was so rude and incompetent!!!! avoid this place at all costs, especially Dr. ******************** she was admitted into the hospital for three days due to the severity of her condition, at a different hospital chain, of course! is it any wonder that their emergency room was empty while the other emergency hospitals room was packed full???! I called the number to try and talk to a patient relations or complaint person and never got a call back after four calls.!!!! unless you have a Deathwish, I would avoid this place at all costs!! and I wonder how many thousands and thousands of dollars they charged my mothers insurance company and ******** for all the tests they ran with no results and no diagnosis!!!! Avoid this doctor and this place at all costs!! !!!!!!!!!

      Deceptive Billing Practices! Charging a "Facility fee " from $200-$500 for an office visit by ******** patients on top of what they bill the insurance company. Terrible customer service along with inept nurses who scheduled the wrong surgery for me, sent me to the wrong hospital for blood work ( there is more than one Lovelace hospital) caused me tremendous stress after surgery and now I cannot continue care and will probably die or have a stroke because of their illegal practices and greed.

      Lovelace has the worse customer service I've ever encountered. I called their number and pressed the button for New Patient, since it was a referral, because that's the number I was given by my clinic to establish care through Endocrinology. I asked to schedule an appointment for Endocrinology. I was told that I needed to call Endo. I was then transferred to Endo. who said they didn't have my referral and to get the person at the clinic to send the referral to XXXXXXXX. I then put that request in through the Referral Team at my clinic, they said they sent it on 6/26 and to give it a week. I waited until 7/12, due to the holiday to give them extra time, and checked MYCHART and still no referral (you can see them when they come in) and called the main line again, started the whole process over, and was told this time to call the referral team. I was given the new number and transferred over to the BREAST CANCER CENTER. So I called the main line again, listened all the way through to see if there's a button to click for anything other than appointments and found that the Referral team has an actual button (#7) on the list. So I pressed that, asked if they got my referral and was told no, they didn't I explained it was sent over twice, and gave them the number fax number it was sent to. I was told that's the fax number to records and I was given a different number to send it to. I asked her if she was able to contact Records and get it sent to them? I was told essentially "not my job" and so I hung up, and after 5 minutes, I called the Patient Concierge Team (fancy way of saying operator I guess) and asked to verify the fax number only to be told that BOTH fax numbers go to the same place! I'm tired of the run around. I just want to book my appointment so I can wait the 120 days to get in to talk to someone about my issues????????

      Stay far, far away from Lovelace. The physician I had was great at their job. However, they also told me that my bill would be covered by insurance when I asked (multiple times). I agreed to care that I wouldn't have agreed to if I had not been told this and then received a big bill. I contacted the provider multiple times and they told me they would look into it and get back to me. I never received any call backs or emails until I received a letter saying I will be sent to collections if I don't pay. I'd recommend finding a more honest healthcare provider.

      Horrible experience with Lovelace Healthcare. As a new patient, I made an appt. with a primary doctor. Dealing with the medical assistant was a nightmare. She was rude and unprofessional towards me and my wife. We made complaints to patient advocate which was worthless. There was no follow-up care with doctor. No one cares at Lovelace about the quality of healthcare you receive. Why should I pay for poor healthcare?Not worth it. Want to have my bill from my office visit removed. Im not going back there. Would rate less than 1 star if I could.
