  I hired ********************* (dba ***** Cares) to perform lawn maintenance. ****** is very difficult to work with. She communicates poorly and sends walls of text using voice-to-text methods but does not proofread anything, so they are overwhelming and difficult to read. ****** was not clear about anything. As soon as I thought I understood something, she would say something new that made me go back and re-read her contract in confusion. I felt gaslighted every time I talked to her. ****** contradicts herself and has a very convoluted way of doing business. Her contract was worded heavily in her own favor and all work was to be done at her convenience and discretion regardless of what I needed or wanted. All I wanted was someone to clean up the weeds and rake the gravel on a regular basis, but what she bamboozled me into was a chemical spraying program in lieu of doing actual lawn maintenance. I paid her over $300.00 for the initial clean-up, which she rescheduled at least twice. I told her I would pay her cash because she charges a lot of fees to use pay services. She said she would come to my house to pick up half the money and she never showed or called. When her employee finally showed up to do the work, he was late. He worked for an hour and then disappeared. I called her to find out where he was, and she said he had other things to do and would be back. He showed up five hours later, after normal work hours, and began running the blower on the front porch disturbing the entire neighborhood.The chemicals they sprayed stained my driveway and house yellow and when I notified her, she talked down to me. She never followed up or made any attempt to correct the problem. Four days later, I wrote to her to cancel the contract and she never bothered to respond. A month later she emailed me and demanded another more detailed explanation as to why I was firing her. She included a mile-long list of excuses but all she did was waste my time.
