I hired Enchantment Medical Billing LLC to complete medical contracts and credentialing with 4 companies. I paid the company approximately $2,500 to complete the work. Enchantment Medical Billing only gave updates on status when repeatedly asked and all updated were vague. Five months after the initiation of contract, I spoke directly with the insurance companies. None of the companies had any record of my business or start to the credentialing process. I reached out to Enchantment Medical Billing to request a refund multiple times and have gotten no response. After looking into this business on the BBB website, it appears this is a recurring scam of this business. I would like the BBB to warn the public about this business, help me get a refund, and (if possible) help me get her business license revoked. I have more supporting documentation if needed.

This contract is for medical billing not Credentialing

I am rejecting this response because:

This contract represents a significant misrepresentation of the services agreed upon. The initial fee for contracting was stated as $300. However, I have paid this company over $2,000, an amount that should have been clearly outlined in the contract but was conveniently omitted. Additionally, I have screenshots of the company’s text messages explicitly agreeing to a $500 credentialing fee for each of four insurance companies.

This company has repeatedly misrepresented work/progress made for my business stating that documentation has been submitted to insurance companies. I have contacted the insurance companies directly and absolutely nothing has been filed. Furthermore, Enchantment Medical Billing continues to avoid direct communication to resolve this dispute without escalation.

These screen shots show no payment transactions made or a signed contract for those services. It shows 8% for medical billing in the texts and the contract

I am rejecting this response because:

I have included screenshots of the text messages exchanged with this company, which clearly verify their request for a $500 fee per credentialing. Additionally, I have now attached a screenshot of my bank statement showing the payments I made to this business.

Based on the evidence and my experience, I believe this company's handling of the transaction demonstrates a lack of good faith. The following facts summarize my concerns:

I contacted this company to assist with medical insurance credentialing.

The company requested $500 per provider and later added an unexpected $300 fee as a condition of doing business with them.

The contract provided by the company failed to mention the $500 fee per provider, which I find misleading.

I paid the company nearly $2,500 (including tax) to contract with four insurance companies.

Despite holding my funds for over six months, the company has not submitted any documentation to any of the four insurance companies.

The company has since ceased responding to my communications and has not refunded my money.

    Regards,

I responded but I also want to include that this agreement has a confidentiality clause. Please review paragraphs 13-15

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

There has been no response to my repeated attempts to contact this company  via email and text messages since November. That email provided no forward action or evidence that work is being done on my account. To this date, no evidence has been provided that action has been taken on my account. Additionally, it appears the contract is effectively null and void due to the company's failure to complete the agreed-upon work, even six months after the agreement was signed.

The confidentiality portion of the contract that she mentioned refers to HIPAA violations. It essentially states that she will not disclose any of my patient information. It has nothing to do with contract disclosure. I have verified this fact with my lawyer.

Around March of 2024, I received a text message from Enchantment Billing inquiring about credentialing and billing services as I am a therapist (LCSW). I do have text messages and emails that I can provide as well as records of the payments that I sent to the owner ******* ********. I sent her all information needed and made three payments in three months of 1,258.48 each for a total of $3775.44. She never provided me with any updates on the status of my credentialing and stopped taking my calls as well as stopped returning my text messages. I have attempted to call her cell phone and the business phone several times and I believe that she has blocked my calls. Recently I hired another agency to do my credentialing and billing and they informed me that no work was done by Enchantment Billing. I would like to get the money that I paid Enchantment Billing back. Again, I do have several emails and text messages that I can provide as well as proof of payment. Thank you.

I am complaining about a company that has committed Check Fraud and Breach of Contract. I have made and documented numerous attempts to contact the company and can supply the emails to demonstrate my efforts and the failure of the company to respond to reasonable attempts to have this resolved.

On January 5, 2023 I paid Enchantment Medical Billing Specialists to apply for credentialing with multiple insurance carriers so that I as a private practice clinician could bill for my services. Here is the payment Info:
    Total Amount: $1294.44
    Transaction ID: ************ Item Amount
    *** and *** $200.00
    ******** $200.00
    **** $200.00
    **** $200.00
    *** $200.00
    ******** $200.00
    NM TAX $94.44

As of June 12, 2023, the applications for **** and ******** had not been submitted correctly and the owner of the company provided false information to me regarding those applications. Both **** and ******** received incorrect information from the company even though I had provided accurate information to the company, and when **** attempted to communicate with Enchantment Medical Billing Specialists they did not receive a response therefore the applications were incomplete.

On June 27th the company re-imbursed me for billing services that were not provided as we had agreed to terminate the credentialing and billing contract and when I went to deposit that refund check it was returned for insufficient funds. There has been no effort on the part of Enchantment Medical Billing Specialists to cover the cost of the check that was returned for insufficient funds and they stopped communicating with me.

The company is guilty of Breach of Contract and Check Fraud. My request is to be re-imbursed either in the form of a Cashiers Check or Cash (since the check I received was fraudulent) in the following amount $847.72: $447. 72 ($431.41 + over draft fee $15.00 + GRT 1.24) + $200 (failure to complete **** application accurately) $200 (failure to complete ******** application ) = $847.72

Hello there was not a contract for Credentialing at all. It was verbal and the cost was $200 per payer APPLICATION. The billing contract was voided but Mrs. ******* was charged for consulting including a 1 hour drive to and from her office at $100 an hour and I spent two hours at her office
