Date of machine rental was 12/07/23. I did not know anything about the machine until after the surgery. The representative said was covered by my insurance company for 2 weeks and I was staying 85 - 90 miles from Albuquerque and he said he would come and get it. I called him many times and he never responded. So after a week I had a friend drive me there and returned it on Dec.27.
This invoice is dated 12/05/24. Received 01/20/25
This company also charged my boyfriends credit card for $4595.00 and he challenged it.
I do not have the money to pay them and I feel scammed. My balance should be $0.

      Dear Customer,

We have reviewed your statement regarding the machine rental and the associated charges. However, based on our records, your account does not align with the details you have provided.

To clarify this matter, please provide supporting documentation, including:
Any written communication confirming the representative’s assurance of insurance coverage.
Proof of return (receipt, signed acknowledgment, or any relevant tracking information).
Documentation related to your dispute of the charge.

Without sufficient proof, the balance remains due, as our records indicate an outstanding debt. If you believe you were misinformed, we encourage you to provide evidence so we can review and address any discrepancies appropriately.

We look forward to your response.
      Best regards,

      INVERSE MEDICAL

No communication from company charging credit card without authorization and producing fake bills. Fraudulent billing continues. We paid for equipment rental and settled bill in its entirety.

Inverse Medical was a referral from my healthcare provider for a Vascutherm 4 post operative cold water machine. I was called by ***** ********, from Inverse prior to the surgery and
I asked her if my insurance approved the machine, she verified with my insurance and told me that in in fact it did cover the unit and took all out information as to when and where my daughter's surgery would take place. A representative met us at Kaseman Hospital after my daughters surgery on 5-16-2024, his name was **** *****. He explained how the machine worked and told me that
I had to put my card on file in case we didn't return the machine. After the time had passed they called for the return, my daughter was still in pain and they extended the use of the machine at no additional charge. After the extension was over they called again and and I met **** at NM Orthopedics in Albuquerque on 7-12-2024 and returned the machine after his inspection. Now nearly two months have passed and they charged my debit card $575.00. I have tried calling several times and the call goes to a mail box belonging to a ***** ******** and the message states that "you are unable to leave a message". I also had ****** number, the representative that picked up the machine and again goes straight to voicemail. I was able to leave him a message and have not heard anything back from him. I am requesting that Inverse Medical return the unauthorized $575.00 to me as I returned the machine as agreed upon.
The numbers that I have been calling is ************ and ************.

Verbal Response: Consumer authorized the charge for the item. They would need to stop their dispute with their bank and pay their fee. The consumer needs to pay $575.00.

I received a letter from the company on 5/3/2024 regarding services billed on 3/9/2024. They offered me a full refund for the services rendered. I appreciated the offer because it was an unexpected charge. It was a goodwill gesture for the company and it was much appreciated. To date they have neither refunded the money to my account or contacted me in any way.

They will not answer emails, return calls, and have not answered a written request sent by US Mail.

After review , the agreement he signed when service was provided has not been met, he currently has a balance due from his insurance company and we are working with his insurance company to pay for services rendered.

His complaint is "not valid"  as his balance has remained open and unpaid with the exception of what he paid but cannot be refundable until his insurance pays for services.

I am rejecting this response because:  The first letter says nothing about trying to recover any monies from the insurance company nor does the second.  First mention of anything ]to do with the insurance claim came from Sasha at the office.

I was offered a refund with no strings attached and now they are changing the terms.  The first letter amounts to a contract that states that my money would be refunded in thirty business days.  They are in breach of that agreement.

I was promised a refund and I have not received it.

The latest version of their letter states that I should now receive a refund in 90 days or less.  Again no mention of trying to collect from the insurance company.

      Regards,

      ****** *******

In January of 2021 I had knee replacement. My doctor prescribed a machine that has attachments that go on my leg that helps prevent blood clots. I was to use this for a month 3 times a day. I was told to pick it up at Inverse Medical in Albuquerque, NM and return it one month at the time of my post operation follow up. I did all of these things.

I was never told the cost of renting the machine, nor was I given a choice as to whether or not I wanted to use it. I just did what the doctor told me.

In February of 2023 I received a bill for $1,251.83 from Inverse Medical. It states that the original fee to rent to machine was $9,026.75. The adjusted the cost to $5,450.05. My insurance paid $2,324.88. And that I still owe $1,251.83. The entire cost seems excessive for renting a machine that basically wraps around my calf and thigh and inflates and deflates over the period of time it was prescribed for me to do it.

The bill has no timeframe or anything of that nature as well.
