      On March 16, CMGL (*****) told me that needed new tires and windshield wipers. He replaced the wipers but asked for $1500 up front to order the tires. Because his credit card machine was not working, he would accept only cash, *******, or ***** (no consumer protection).

      On March 20, ***** said the distributor was having trouble processing his payment so he had not been able to order the tires.

      On March 21, it was raining so I turned on the windshield wipers. Less than a mile later, one of the wipers literally popped off. I pulled over and took pictures of the now-missing wipers and sent them to *****. He called me later that afternoon to say he could fix them but he never scheduled a time to correct his faulty job.

      I requested a refund for the tires since I was not confident that they had been ordered nor be correctly installed given the wipers. ***** assured me he would refund me but he had to wait for the tires to arrive, send them back, and get his own refund before he could send my refund.

      I did not hear from CMGL until March 24, when I called ***** and left a message about the status of the refund. I memorialized my call via text and email. He called back and said once he got his refund he would refund me. I expressed concern about his unresponsiveness, and that he had ghosted and scammed me, referencing customers with similar experiences.

      I followed up on March 27. ***** told me to stop asking him about my refund because he was irritated. I explained it seems like he scammed me.

      On March 28, I requested an update. ***** called and told me to stop asking about the refund. I stated it is unusual not issue a refund promptly after agreeing to do so. ***** made excuses that the tire distributor and the bank were holding his money.

      I did not receive any further updates nor my refund, so I followed up on March 31 and April 3 via text and voicemail. CMGL has not responded. Therefore, I request BBB assist in resolving this matter and investigate CMGL.

      I have processed the refund with my bank and am waiting for the funds as soon as I recieve the funds the monies wil be distributed

      I am rejecting this response because: I have not received the refund. CMGL has been promising to refund me without actually doing so. The only resolution I will accept is receipt of the refund.
