    I went to take 5 for oil change, etc. receipt. On my way back to no I heard a popping sound and saw white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I pulled over and all the oil had leaked out of the engine. I called a tow truck and had the car towed to standard station. since I didn't know what was going on. The tow truck driver told me that this was the 4th car her picked up that due to oil filter not put in right.

    To Whom it May Concern,


    I am writing in response to the complaint filed against our
    business, Take 5 Oil Change, with the ID ********. I appreciate the opportunity
    to address this matter and provide clarification.
    After reviewing the details of the complaint, I would like
    to offer the following response:


    Customer Interaction:  On 7/6/24, at 10:21 AM (Inv 9412) we completed an oil change to vehicle with VIN *****************.  We utilized 3.75 qts of 5W20 ******** Synthetic Blend Oil and an ******** X4610 oil filter.  With video footage, we were able to validate that the oil was drained, ******** oil filter was installed, Oil filter gasket was verified by technician, 3.75 qts of oil were added to vehicle, oil level was verified with customer, vehicle underwent a pressure test and oil leak verification, and oil level was re-verified with customer.  On 7/8/24, we received a phone call from customer stating that she heard a loud pop while driving down the interstate and there that was no oil in the vehicle.  Customer stated that the vehicle was being towed to Midas in Santa Fe

    Resolution Steps: Our employee was able to locate vehicle at  Firestone – Santa Fe and performed inspection.  Vehicle was inspected on 7/11/24 and found wires exposed under steering column, an empty coolant jug in the back of the vehicle, oil drain plug missing, and an active oil drip still occurring from the oil pan.  With customer’s consent and at no expense, we arranged to have the customer’s vehicle towed back to Albuquerque.  Vehicle was towed to Midas Auto, **** ****** **** *** ************ **.  Oil drain plug was reinstalled and oil replaced, vehicle started with no issues.  The issue reported by the customer could not be replicated.  Customer was not charged for the 3rd party inspection.

    Additional Information: Customer was given location of the vehicle to retrieve.

    to take or if further information is required.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Because of there doing not putting the oil plug in right what was established w no fault of my own I had to pay for tow when oil all leaked out and expenses that was caused because of take 5 negligence in not putting oil plug in right I am entitled to my expenses such a tow and should at least get oil change expense refunded since it was not properly done!!! I will fight w social media if I have to
