We purchased our new sunroom from Sandia Sunrooms on 7/30/24 we signed the paperwork
The sunroom finally came in and they came out to install - When they started putting it up I noticed that is was not correct and notified ** the Project Manager that it was missing several windows. He looked into it and stated that he had messed up on the order. He would talk to the boss and call me back.. I finally talked to **** the Boss and he said they would order the windows that were missing and put in a glass on the roof to brighten it up.. I agreed they would put what was here up and then remove the roof after the other glass came in. And I would also hold my roofer off because i was scheduled to get a new roof. I asked if it would leak any at all and ** stated "oh no" it will not lead it will be totally sealed. After snow and rain and many leaks pouring into my sunroom I called many times and was told that they would be out to fix it..It is 11/26/24 and nobody has been out.. The bricks have still not been completed. When they did the install they left metal shavings, trash plastic on the windows. Parts and pieces of the unfinished sunroom laying in my yard.. I have been unsuccessful in getting any answers as to when they are going to finish up.. Always get sent to voicemail and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy..I do not know what else to do..

First, we want to apologize for the frustration and inconvenience we have caused the customer. When the sunroom was ordered it was ordered without the transom windows at the top of the walls. When this was brought to our attention we spoke with the customer regarding installation of the sunroom. It was explained that it would be best to wait until we had the transoms to install as we would have to take it apart to install the transoms once they arrived. The customer requested the sunroom be installed with the understanding that we would take it apart to install the transoms at a later date and we would install a new skylight roof panel at no charge for the inconvenience. We explained at that time that we would seal it the best we could at that time but once it is sealed completely taking it back apart becomes extremely difficult to do without destroying everything.

I spoke with the customer personally on November 26th 2024 regarding leaks and the bricks need to be installed(which I was unaware of) and let her know I would get the crew out there to address her concerns. I called back at 4pm on the 26th to schedule a time for our guys to go out, l left a message and never received a return call.

At the time of this response, December 2nd, the bricks are installed and the crew is working on the leaks.

We have a shipping notice of December 3rd for the transoms to leave Michigan and the moment we have them they will be installed asap.

We decided to get 3 windows and a sliding door from Sandia Sunrooms. Once we discovered that they had issues, we tried to get them to correct them via warranty. Supposedly they have lifetime warranties, but they claim that the company that made them no longer exists, so they can't honor the warranty. The issues I have, are that they leak allowing air in and during windy season, the sliding door emits a howling sound. I don't see the point of saying that we will get better insulated energy efficient windows to help us with our energy costs, and then they don't work properly. I called and went to the office repeatedly to get them to here my complaint and get them repaired or replaced. I really don't care which, I just want my windows and sliding door to work properly. I got one of the main installation mangers to come by and check for himself after showing him videos and pictures at their place of business. He told me he would get back to me, and I never heard from him again. I since have gone back 2 more times and keep getting the run around. I even saw them at the home show, and asked for their help again in honoring their warranty and again was never called back. Please help me with this issue. I feel I paid a lot of money for no reason, my goal was to seal my house up to lower my energy bills and of course not have air blowing in as well as dust/dirt. I would like them either repaired or replaced. Thank You!

We understand the customer's frustration and are sorry that their expectations were not met.

On February 23, 2024 our Construction Manager visited the customer, inspected and operated the windows and door. They all worked properly and had no issues with operation or installation. Unfortunately, in a very windy and dusty environment, any window or door is going to have a slight amount of air infiltration. A normal maintenance routine of cleaning the window and door tracks and threshold regularly should keep the windows working properly.

That being said, we still tried to contact the manufacturer (******** Windows) for a second opinion but they are no longer in business. Then we contacted ****** ***** ******** ****** (who used to own ******** Windows) for a second opinion. ****** ***** said that the customer would have to contact them directly with any possible product issues or product warranty concerns. They said the customer can submit a warranty claim online at: www.*******************. ****** ******* warranty service department phone number is: *************

The project was completed by June 12, 2021, so our contractual standard one year labor and installation warranty has expired. However, we would be happy to provide any labor needed (at a discounted rate of $50.00 per hour) if ****** ***** provides any product or parts (if the customer so desires).

On Friday afternoon Sandia sunrooms called me to see if I had finished my remodel. The representative was sweet and so I told her “ok” you can have someone come out on Monday to look at my bathrooms. The next days to follow my phone has rung off the hook with contractors trying to reach out and set up an appointment for bathroom remodels.

This company straight up sold my personal information. I’m LIVID. I get so many calls I may have to change my number which I use for personal and business alike.

I understand the frustration of receiving lots of sales or spam calls.  However, we did not sell or give your information to any party.  We never sell or give out prospect or customer information, it's not the business we are in.  As a remodeler, we keep that information very confidential, I would never want a competitor to get that information and possibly lose a sale.  Also, we put you on our do not call list so you should not receive any calls from us in the future.  Thank you for your concern.

I was looking for countertops and kitchen cabinets for my kitchen. The sales people called me back and said it would be 10 weeks for the cabinets. I thought about it, called back and made an appointment just for the countertops. A**, who called back, was very rude and unprofessional and said I, the customer, was required to do both. I'm trying to sell my house. I don't have 10 weeks. She was loud and unprofessional then hung up the phone. What lack of professionalism by these people and this business. I hope the business-owner is notified of this.

I apologize for any rudeness you may have experienced on the phone, I will certainly address it with that person.  As explained earlier, we are not a counter top fabricator and do not sell counter tops only.  If we do an entire kitchen remodel or at least sell a customer kitchen cabinets, we will include counter tops as part of the sale if the customer wants us to.  However, we have to go to a counter top fabricator to order the counter tops.  Most of our customers go directly to a counter top fabricator for their tops because it is more cost effective.  Since we do not sell just counter tops, I recommend that you go to a counter top fabricator.  Sorry again for any inconvenience or confusion.  Thanks.
