I was contracted a few days before the ** ************** and was hired to complete a job for this company. I went to the training that was put together last minute and was not given enough information or the tools I needed to complete the job. The day I was suppose to start I received a text message stating that I had one hour to pick up my parking pass and the necessary info I needed to complete my job before the office closed. Being I only had an hour to try and get to the office before they closed I did not go and get the necessary documents or information because I would've not have made it in time anyways. Now it's been weeks and I've requested my check from the training be sent to my home and the company will not send it in the mail they are telling me that the owner has my check and he will not send it in the mail. This company from my experience is very lackadaisical in there practice and are taking out their lack of preparedness for such an event out on me. It was their mission to get me the necessary information and required documents to perform my job at the fullest and yet they failed to do so. I would tell anybody who is inquiring about this company to thoroughly investigate the company before making any commitments towards them as I do not find them to be professional in any shape or form.

Desert Wolf Security has reviewed and investigated this complaint. Listed below is a factual timeline based on text messages, emails and phone records.: 09/22/2022: Subject applied to Desert Wolf Security through Indeed.9/27/22: Subject was notified of his interview via text message, which was scheduled for 9/28/2022.9/28/22: Desert Wolf Security interviewed and hired the Subject as a Level III Security Officer for the *********** International Balloon Fiesta. 9/30/22: Subject was notified via text message that there would be fewer Level 3 hours available than expected, and was offered the opportunity to either no longer accept the job with Desert Wolf Security, or to take hours alternative hours available as Level 1 at a lower rate of pay. These would have been in addition to the available Level 3 hours at the previously agreed upon rate of pay of $30.00. 9/30/22: Subject responded via text message that he was not interested in the additional Level I hours at the lower rate, but would still accept the Level 3 hours with Desert Wolf Security, as well as attend paid orientation, at the originally agreed upon rate of pay of $30.00 per hour. 9/30/22: Subject attended paid orientation at the Desert Wolf Security office. While he was there, another apology was given verbally that the hours had changed from what he was told during the interview, this was due to the client changing the hours. He verbally accepted the companys apology. We discussed his hours and he agreed to work from 3a-11a on Friday, Oct 7, 3a-11a on Saturday Oct 8 and 3a-11a on Sunday Oct 9 in plain clothes, sitting in a tent, watching money during the *********** International Balloon Fiesta. 10/3/22: Subject inquired via text message when he could pick up the parking pass for his assignment at the Balloon Fiesta and was told he would be notified once the company owner had the passes in hand. Because these passes were the same as issued to law enforcement, our company did not receive them until the assignment was about to begin, so as not to be used for the days prior to our assignment. 10/5/22: 1:13pm- Subject was notified via text message that the parking passes were at the office ready for pick-up. Our office was open on that day until 5pm. We were not notified by Subject that there would be an issue with picking up the parking pass. The office was also open from 9a-5p the following day.10/7/22: Subject did not come to the office for the parking pass, nor did he notify any member of the staff of Desert Wolf Security that he would no longer be working at the Balloon Fiesta. He simply never contacted the company after he was notified of the parking pass availability. Desert Wolf Security was left to re-assign his agreed upon shifts at the last minute, in order to fulfill our obligation to the client. The pay period ended on October 11, 2022, and payday was on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Subjects paycheck ($60 minus taxes) was waiting for him to pick up at the Desert Wolf Security Office, but he never contacted us to instruct us on what to do with his check. As we had no contact with him, we were unsure of his status. Once we did make contact with him, the owner of Desert Wolf Security asked if he could speak with him to try and figure out what had occurred and why he was a NO Show for his assigned/accepted shifts. Subject refused to meet with the owner of the company. Desert Wolf Security mailed the subject his paycheck via registered mail on November 8, 2022. Subject picked up his paycheck at the post office on November 10, 2022 @ 3:38 PM. Subject was hired as a Level III armed officer and at the time of the employment offer, he was a current employee of another security company. At the time he applied to Desert Wolf Security, Subjects resume listed him as a Lieutenant and Chief Medical Officer with another security company in ***********, **. The security company Subject was employed by is the same security company that had worked the *********** International Balloon Fiesta in 2021 along with Desert Wolf Security and was not rehired in 2022 by the *********** Balloon Fiesta. Desert Wolf Security agrees with Subject in that we believe all customers should thoroughly research and review any security company they may plan to use.
