    On June 9, 2023, I hired My Window Man to repair a broken blind. They picked up the blind from my home on June 13, 2023. After almost two weeks, they returned the repaired blind on June 26, 2023. Unfortunately, they had restrung the blind incorrectly.

    I called them on July 7, 2023 to let them know about the error in restringing the blind, and it was picked up by them on July 10, 2023 in order to correct their mistake. After another two weeks the blind was returned to my home on July 24, 2023.

    The string to the now correctly restrung blind broke on July 15, 2024. When I called on July 16, 2024 to see about using the one year warranty they offer, I was informed by Maria that the warranty was not applicable. I was told that the break had occurred outside of the warranty’s term limits. Even though I did not have a fully operational blind for a complete year, My Window Man apparently does not believe that they should honor the terms of their own warranty. Pretty shabby treatment.

    She hired us to fix a blind that was a year old. We give a year warranty. She called us and it was damaged from wear and tear because it was old. My husband went there and told her. She called us and the warranty had expired. We told her that there was a service charge. She just hung up on us when we asked. We are more than willing to help her get a new blind. We cannot guarantee after a year.
