    Transaction date 08/02/24 quoted total of $3099.60 for 3 windows, required down payment of $1,025.00 which I paid., balance due of $2,074.60 upon installation/completion. Purchase was for 3 windows, salesman never told me windows would be tinted green. I would never have agreed to green tinted windows.. I have a pale pink house, with rose colored patio walls. I paid the balance of $20274.60 upon installation 09/27/24. I soon noticed the "green" reflection, but I thought it was the sheer outfacing curtains against the back of the indoor facing curtains which are brown... I bought 3 sets of outgoing curtains at 4 panels per set, totaling over $400.00 dollars not realizing the green tint was in the windows, not coming from the curtains. Once I realized the tint was in the windows I called salesman , Brandon C******* he said I asked for curtains that kept warmth in during winter and heat out during summer... I never did! that's what he was selling but he neglected to tell me windows would reflect green. I asked him to fix it he said that was all they sold. I contacted President Bill H*****, he said he would have to look into seeing how this could be handled. Never heard from him. I am a 77 yr old widow; that $3000 for 3 windows is 1/6 of my annual net Social Security. I want them to have the 2 front facing windows replaced with clear windows, or refund what I paid for them so another window manufacturer can. THEY NEVER SAID THE WIDOWS WOULD BE TINTED GREEN! . Their response is nothing can be done.

    Mrs. ******** called our office in December, 2024, when she
    asked to speak to the owner.  I returned
    her call that afternoon. Early in the conversation she asked if she could
    include her friend, **** ***** on our call.  However, **** was busy and I was given her contact information and was
    told by Mrs. ******** to discuss her concerns with ****.  **** and I spoke at length.  At the end of the call, I understood that
    Mrs. ******** was supposed to call me back to give me an answer regarding the
    options I offered.  In the meantime, I
    spoke with my salesman, Brandon, who told me she was shown two samples of Low E
    glass to choose from, as he always does.  She chose the darker of the two.  That solar control Low E glass was added to
    the contract and she signed it. The windows were installed September 27, 2024
    according to the contract.   For the past 20 years, all our windows have
    had Low E glass as a standard, with a solar control glass as an option.  We have never had a complaint about our LowE
    being green.
    No call ever came back from Mrs ******** after my initial
    conversation ****, only the complaint to the BBB.
    I called **** back and discussed the options again, and my
    reluctance to change energy efficient glass for clear glass, that will be much
    less efficient.  I then called Mrs.
    ******** again and she was adamant that she wanted the green tint gone and
    stated that she had a heater and a cooler and wasn’t concerned about the loss
    of efficiency. 
    The solution she is requesting (changing to clear glass) will
    drastically reduce the energy efficiency of the window. We remain concerned she
    doesn’t understand the difference in the cold and heat she will experience, but
    we have agreed to her solution to change the two front windows to clear glass
    and hope this will solve her problem of removing the green glass.
