      Underground Specialties was hired in 2022 to do land **************************** for modular home installation. They did not install septic system correctly, as it was to have 2 sets of inspection tubes. This prevented obtaining health department approval, prior to obtaining Certificate of Occupancy. In trying to contact them, phone calls and emails were never replied to/responded to. Eventually they returned, uncovered system, and were to take & submit photos of the work to the health department. The photos were never submitted. Finally the system design engineer had to come on site to approve the work. Additionally, the cistern was incorrectly installed, with risers not bolted in place. This resulted in mud filling the cistern, contaminating the water, as well as the plumbing systems throughout the house. Extensive time, labor & cost were spent correcting the issue. When Underground Specialties were informed of the issue, they did not respond in any manner. Two years after beginning this project, at a cost of $60,000, the Certificate of Occupancy is still in process. Under no circumstances would we recommend, or hire Underground Specialties to do any work.
