      My 18 year old son was killed on November 2nd. His father and I were next of kin, however My mother-in-law was able to convince the people at Noblin's that she should make all the decisions and she tried to keep us completely out of the loop. Once I finally found where my sons body had been moved too without my permission I was able to call them and stop it all, but only because I had the paperwork. So we were told as my son died a violent death that a victims advocacy was going to pay for everything, however my mother in law already had her self all signed up and the funeral home let her pay for her memorial with that money even though it covered nothing in regards to actually taking care of my son. After I was told The victims advocacy couldn't help as they'd already sent a 8,000 dollar check to Noblin's, I found another independent charity willing to help and I was so relieved, however after they called the victims advocacy and were told they'd already paid for it they just told me to call Noblin's again because surely there's some mistake. Noblin's still made me pay for everything myself even though they got that money. It took me months to afford it because I'm a single mother, and they didn't want to cremate him till I could pay which kept adding the 75.00 dollars a day charge. They did eventually discount a few days but only after telling me I wasn't raising money fast enough and while I was trying my son was lying in a freezer with a Y incision. Yes they seriously said that to me. I was the only person in my family that paid and it was 1,852.84. I would never have used Noblin but ****** my mother in law who lied about being next of kin is really good friends with ****** Noblin. I want an apology for how I was treated and I think some money back when I'm pretty sure they've been paid twice isn't too much to ask.

      No refund is dues as funds were not accepted by any other organization.  There is much more to this situation not being disclosed by **** and her continued defamatory statements, however out of respect of the family, there is no further comment.
