We hired a wedding planner (Mariah E*******) to help my brother and his finance plan their wedding in April of 2022. We signed the contract on 4/3/22 after conducting a phone meeting with Mariah for over an hour. We explained that they wanted to get married in August but were also in the middle of a remodel and needed quite a bit of help to pull the event together in a small amount of time. We booked her biggest package which outlined that she would help them find vendors, meet with them monthly, help them with their budget, coordinate with the vendors and venue site, provide unlimited communication, ect. Shortly after we signed the contract, she started to show up late to meetings, not show up at all, not respond to emails or calls, failed to provide assistance with vendor contacts and so forth. My brother just informed me that she is not responding to any of their communication via email and phone and now just sent an email stating that he will be on vacation until August before their wedding with no more communication. The services on the contract have not been conducted at all.

The claims stated by **** ***** are false. I have brought the clients many vendors and agreed to make wedding signs. Please refer to the many emails in "Service Documentation". I have had a monthly meeting with the clients every month. I have communicated with the clients through email numerous times and have responded to all emails. My 1 week vacation was not near their wedding date. It was July 18-24 and did not affect the ***** wedding (August 27) in any way. I did not cut off communication. I informed the clients that if they needed to contact me, they can leave an email and I will respond when I get back from vacation (in 7 days).

I have upheld my end of the contract. Please refer to the documents submitted for proof.

The clients have disputed this charge with their bank, causing the bank to unlawfully withdraw funds from my bank account.
