    On August 13, 2023 I delivered my 1984 Porsche Carrerra Coup to PCMI for engine rebuild. I was told by **** ****, the owner, that it would be about 4 months. Over the course of 14 months I called monthly. **** **** started becoming abusive and making up different stories why my car was not being worked on. In January, 2024 he asked me to send $7746.46 for parts and labor. . He gaslighted me the entire time. I called and told him I was contacting an attorney and he said several swear words and hung up on me.
    Here is the text of one of two voice mails (the truncated due to words limitation) he left over the next few minutes:

    So, hey, *****, sorry it's a little shocking to hear what you said. I don't believe for a second that you suing me will make anything go faster. I can't imagine that the machinist will go, oh, my God, **** is getting sued, which is going to make anything change, and to be honest with you, it's ridiculous. I can't help that. We can build the engine. If you want to come pick up the car, please do it. I will give them a box of parts. And then they can figure out how to put this car back together. It makes no sense to me at all. This is the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. And I've never, ever, ever had a problem with building an engine. So this is totally rude, in my opinion. Obviously, oh, it's all my fault because I don't do the machine work. This is f****** nonsense. So please, go after me. That's great. You will get a box of parts. Thank you.

    Conclusion: I want a full refund of the $7746.46 since I believe after some research this quote was not fully relevant to the rebuild and the cost ofmark-up was out of line. I also want my car returned.

    I am waiting for the shop to finish the parts needed to repair her car. We cannot repair until the parts we need come in. When they do and we repair the car, she can have it.
