    Electric company was hired by previous owners of property for inspection purposes. electric Company checked out property and falsely claimed there were no issues with home. Wrote letter to new owners, indicating there were no issues wrong with the home at the time of inspection. Buyers were advised by realtor that inspections would be valid for a period of time after moving into the new home. electric company is now refusing to recheck work They previously completed on the home. Realtor advised buyers that we would be given a grace period for any electrical issues to be rechecked. Would like for electric company to reassess and cover all costs if possible.

    I am rejecting this response because:



    Business owner was very unprofessional and responded in a very rude manner, which was not necessary. He did not give an explanation as to why we were unable to contact him , and instead told us “not to contact him anymore”. His response to the situation could have been more professional, being that he is a business owner. These inspections in our home were to be done properly.  Business owner signed off on inspections, claiming there were no issues,  but also stated to us that he does not work on residential homes. Business owner could have let us know he did work for a “friend” and did not have to respond in such a hateful manner. This complaint will not be retracted, for the reasons of 1). Owners behavior and unprofessional/rude response and 2). Owner being untruthful-signing off on a residential home inspection , when he stated he does not work on residential properties. Instead of repairing anything, we would like a formal, written, and public apology for his behavior.
