      On June 14, 2023 my wool rug was picked up for cleaning by this company. We had recently purchased the rug and was delivered in February. In May we came home to Taos with a tiny chihuahua puppy who had peed on the rug. They told me that they would do their best to get it out. The rug had been spot cleaned by me but I wanted to get it professionally cleaned and they agreed to take on the task. On July 27th the rug was returned after paying $315.00. Upon unrolling this rug we realized it had been severely damaged. The color has bled, the rug now had a fowl smell, the rug had lost its shape, the rug no longer lay flat, the rug had bucket indentations on it, the rug had a hole in the back, the rug had rust stains or something like that on the back. When I reaches out to the company “Mark” the service manager said he would reimburse me for the cleaning and look into a replacement after I submitted pictures. He apologized and said he would talk to management about how to move forward. I was never reimbursed not was the rug replaced or was I given any money. I was given the run around for a week until the owner finally got back to me and accused me of being a filthy person. And said I sent him a disgusting rug. He also said he had no plans of giving me anything. I then hired ***** ***** ******* ******* to represent me. They sent him a letter with my demands. The cost of the rug and reimbursement for cleaning only to have him write me back accusing me of destroying my own rug, again calling me a dirty person, and not agreeing to pay as well as threatening to sue me if I reached out to the BBB or Attorney General for slander. I have since filed a claim with Amex regarding the $315.55 and the investigation is pending. They have a copy of Marks email to me saying he would reimburse me.
