I stayed at this motel on October 7th 2023. When I checked in I had to pay a 50.00 deposit that I never got back. When I would call I would get various excuses. Them claiming that they tried to send it to my bank and to give it a day or so to deposit. Then I'd call back and I'd get the same claim. Then finally I demanded a check, I heard the one lady in the background tell him when he agreed to do a money order. Probably since that would be harder to track and prove rather it was sent or not. Although thankfully I have informed delivery and can show what I have and havnt gotten in the mail. Anyways, he told me to email this address that I was given from corporate to give them my address. Which is strange as theyd have my address on file from when I checked in. I think that was another game of theirs to probably claim to you that they never got my email. Its been nothing but games and lies with these guys and if you look at their reviews you will see others have not received their deposits as well. Another thing I wanted to add is that when I contacted Corporate, they said that this motel is privatly owned, so there is nothing they can do?? Its a travelodge, How is there nothing Travelodge can do? Anyways they never gave me a receipt so I don't have one, however I do have the itenerary number through expedia. Please let me know if you need anything else. Itenerary number is **************.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/14/2023

I requested to get his address so we could send a money order to him. I told him to email me his address. Instead of emailing his address, he sent several other emails saying that we've taken too long and we should already have his address in our system. Our system does not keep customers addresses. If he had provided his address when we requested it, I would've sent him the money order by now and it could have been resolved.

We will send the money order now that we have his address.

I am rejecting this response because:

They lied yet again.  Unfortunately your not allowing me to send an attachment or a photo.  So I copied and pasted the exact email.  I will close the case when I actually have the money in hand.  I bet they are claiming this to shut this case down and keep from having a negative review.  I will forward that message to your email.  But here I copied and pasted it.  What liers, especially on something I can so easily prove!!!!!!
