Hired the company in the beginning of May for $4500.
We placed down a deposit of $700 and he said that would cover the day that was set in May. That day came and he followed us out to the property. He told us he could not move the trailer that day because there are things in the way and we spent the whole day clearing out a way. That day he requested $500.
Then in June, we moved the first half of the trailer and it was going smoothly. We did mention that we were $400 short; he told us not to worry, he'd still move the trailer. It was dark when the first half was set up, so he said he'd bring the other half in the morning. We gave him the rest of the cash that was from the $4500 minus the $400. He told us that we owed him $900 and that the $500 was not to be taken out of his money. We tried reasoning with him and told him we'd have his money on the first and if he could just move the other half of the trailer. He wouldn't. The first of July came, as promised we had the money and waited for him to call or text to move the trailer. The entire day he ignored my calls; he responded until the next morning after I called him endless. There are moments when I try to call he has his wife answer the phone instead. Since he failed to bring both trailers, our first half has fallen to the ground and water damage has occurred to the drywall and flooring. To this day August 23rd, he has been ignoring my calls on the days we BOTH decided to move the trailer. Today my family and I live in half a trailer; we are all getting sick and he keeps blaming the weather for being bad. I took a few trips to Window Rock and have seen no rain. I am annoyed with him ignoring my calls and not responding. I want him to finish his job or at least return my money.
