I purchased a portable heater from this business with cash. It did not work properly. It was overheating and turning off. I took the heater back with my receipt and asked for refund. The employee (*****) stated the manager ****** ***** was not available to process the refund. I was advised to leave the heater and they would call me when I could return for my refund. I’ve requested my refund several times. I’ve talked to ***** in the office who states that ****** ***** is the only person to authorize the refund. ****** ***** She refuses my calls, and the business has now blocked my number from calling. They kept the faulty heater and took my money.

********* ****** returned an electric heater with out a
receipt. The date of purchase of this heater was on September 28, 2024.
The first time she returned the heater was in November without a box,
remote, manual and original receipt. As per our records it was more than
30 days after the date of purchase. ********* stated that the heater
did not work. We went thru the process of checking the heater, nothing
was wrong with the heater. The safety switch was off. I then called her
to notify her that the heater was working properly.  ********* picked up
heater and kept the heater for another month or so. Her son Robert
brought the heater back in again with no receipt, I did inform him we
needed the receipt to process the refund. He said he would inform his
mother. We checked the heater again and the heater is working properly.
We received several phone calls demanding a refund and hanging up on us
daily. She stated in December that she would be in by the end of the
year for her refund and never showed up. We have the heater in our
possession. It is in working condition.

Our Return Policy states: #1 need purchase receipt #2 need packaging #3 our error...100% refund
#4 customer error No refund plus a 20% restocking fee.

    Rosemarie
has outstanding invoices with our store. I did inform her that the
refund could be placed on her outstanding balance that she owes the
store. She demanded a refund. A credit of 108.27 for the heater has been
applied to her outstanding invoices since no receipt was ever provided.
The transaction was not done on 10/15/2024. ********* was given a 10%
    family discount on this heater.

    Customer Answer

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

****** ***** has disregarded my attempts to resolve this matter in a timely matter. I  called several times for a refund and was told that she was the only person to refund my money and when I attempted to obtain my refund she made herself unavailable. She states my money was applied to previous invoices, however, my account with the business was paid in full to the previous owner, ******* ******.

    Regards,

    ********* ******
