STAY AWAY FROM **** DRILLING!!! (READ ON FOR DETAILS!!)Contacted **** Drilling to drive an irrigation well in *********, **. Well was driven Jan 2025 - and the ********* of the State Engineer (NM-OSE) paperwork was handed to **** Drilling to file with the State.June 2025, received a letter from NM-OSE saying, "This office has not received a well driller's record...". Hence, the "permit" was cancelled and we had an illegal well. I called NM-OSE and they never received anything from **** - *and* we'd have to pay another $125 to renew the permit!?Went to **** office - they said paperwork was sent Feb 25. I asked for a copy of the signed form - they said they don't keep copies. I asked about the $125 permit fee if the State cant find the form. They refused to answer. Then, got a call from NM-OSE **** (I had called earlier thinking the letter was a mistake.) The NM-OSE *** had an exact copy of the driller's log I had because **** Drilling had *just* sent it, and the owner had called NM-OSE *that* morning about *SEVERAL* drilling logs that hadn't been filed. Then we looked at the form that **** had given me, and had just sent to NM-OSE that morning. This log wasn't even for our well!! Our well is a 26' driven supplemental irrigation well (no casing, no drilling), but the "log" that they gave me, (and had *supposedly* submitted to the State), said it was a 235' well, "rotary" drilled, and included a 4" PVC casing!? It appears they gave me a fictional form expecting me to just go away.Bottom line - the NM-OSE *** is coming to inspect our well. Pending inspection by NM-OSE - I'm sure this story isn't over. And there may be several other folks that may be caught in this mess that **** Drilling has created.
