I am one to never go to the Dentist. But because my insurance allows me to do so (now that I have good insurance) and because my tongue is always sore from my chipped teeth I went.
Everybody there at Carabelli Dental tricked me into agreeing to (I think they called it "Anesthesia", making me think my insurance was good with their request.
So I feel I've been swindled by deception and trickery and DO NOT think I should pay the money my insurance isn't paying.
My insurance isn't paying, and I also am refusing to pay.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We truly value your feedback and are sorry to hear that you feel misled during your recent visit with us.
At Carabelli Dental, our goal is always to provide clear and transparent information so our patients can make informed decisions about their care. We understand how important it is to feel confident about what’s covered by insurance and what may be an out-of-pocket cost.
Regarding the anesthesia, we always aim to review treatment plans and discuss associated costs beforehand, including what we estimate insurance will cover. With that being said we’d like to clarify that treatment costs are based on the breakdown and coverage provided directly by your insurance. Once your insurance processes the claim, we are required to follow their payment structure and percentages — we do not have the ability to alter what they approve or deny.
We understand that insurance can be confusing, and we’re more than happy to go over your explanation of benefits (EOB) with you, so you can see exactly how they calculated their portion and what was applied to your responsibility.

I am rejecting this response because: I am requesting for the "Monetary Charges" to be dropped.  I have attached a written Letter clarifying my explanation.

Thank you for your detailed message regarding your recent experience at Carabelli Dental. We sincerely regret that you left feeling misled. We understand this situation has been frustrating for you.
In our practice, we strive to discuss treatment options including any additional services or fees like anesthesia before proceeding. However, it’s clear from your feedback that this communication did not meet your expectations.
Regarding the charge and your insurance's PR50 denial, we understand your frustration. Unfortunately, some services, while important for patient comfort, are not always considered “medically necessary” under insurance guidelines, and therefore may not be covered.

Our office has reached out to assist you in understanding the charges and the portions not covered by your insurance. Please be advised that the outstanding balance on your account has been outstanding since last year attempts were made by our office to reach out to you. The account has been sent to the collections agency. You will have to reach out to them since the amount owed is no longer to us. We are more than happy to provide that information.
