    I paid a $500 deposit, I m only getting $350 back. Manager ******* stated bathtub and stove were dirty and was charging for cleaning. I have pictures place was cleaned and have witnesses that saw place clean. Stove from this apartments are old as well as their appliances! My mom cleaned stove and I cleaned it out as much as I could get it clean. Since it was so dirty stuff was stuck inside oven it’s so old it was impossible to get it spotless. Thank you

    1) The Deposit that Ms****** was charged & paid is incorrect. ALL one bdrs are $400. Her refund was based on $400 and was for $250 not the $350/$500 she has in the complaint.
    2) Ms.***** did not keep her set appointment for a walk through where these type of situations can be addressed.

    Her charges were calculated by actual condition of the unit. She was
    charged $150 for items such as Kitchen cabinets they were left dirty
    & had crumbs etc and the tub and towel bar area were also left dirty.  Our maintenance technicians were able to clean all areas needed without much effort leading us to believe that there was no prior cleaning done. There were damages to blinds that we did not even charge for due to the fact that we could not pinpoint when the damage to the mechanism that allows the blinds to be raised and lowers was damaged.  Typically we would still charge but decided that we would forgo this charge for her at that time.  We also did not charge her for paint or floors as the floors were stained when she moved in and for the most part did have rugs covering most of the carpeted area.  With that being said, there were more stains left than when she moved in but we once again decided not to charge her for the full carpet clean. 

    I am attaching copies of her move in/move out condition form, the letter showing how much she would be receiving in the mail for her refund, a copy of the ledger that shows her security depoist charge, the application fee and her pro rated rent for her first month residing with us, it also has the 3 payments made to offset those charges and she had a $0 balance after those were paid.  The ledger also shows that we only charged the $150 cleaning fee and that her refund check should be written for $252 and also I have attached a copy of the printout of the check was written and mailed to Ms. Lindo which cleared our bank on April 22, 2024.
