    Hello,

On december 18th I paid for a personality test for $1.95. On december 26th I am seeing a charge of $29.95 on my credit card. This is a charge for a subscription I never signed up for. I contacted the company and they said that this information was on the confirmation email they sent. It is there, but at the very end of the confirmation email (the goal is that the customer doesn´t notice it). Again, I never agreed to subsribe and pay the for the monthly $29.95 fee.

This business has a website that offers a personality profiling for $2. Then after you pay that and surpass the security authorization, they do a $29.95 monthly cycle that isn’t state, and it’s not a big charge so many months went by without me knowing of this charge and I just paid it. It’s been over 6 months. Now times are not good so the bills are looked over very carefully. And this way of business is very unscrupulous and takes advantage of people especially during bad times. After 120 days the credit card companies doesn’t reimburse you.

This company has extremely deceptive business and marketing techniques. They will have you pay under $2 to take a simple quiz and then suddenly you’re locked into a subscription you did not agree to. In the worlds smallest font in one email do they say you’re now subscribed and it will renew etc. NEVER do they send a renewal notice prior to the payment being forced through without your authorization. When you finally are charged without your consent, and you go to cancel one of the options as to why your cancelling is “I didn’t know this was a subscription” which clearly confirms they know what they are doing is deceptive. This behavior is not only fraud, but it is an extremely unethical business model. I took the $1.95 quiz for fun with my wife and this left a nasty taste in my mouth.
