      An order was placed for the purchase and installation of a pellet stove. A $3200 (half amount) was placed as requested for the purchase of the stove. The business will not answer my phone calls or all me back concerning my requests to get a receipt for the charge to my credit card, questions of getting some sort of a contract establishing the terms of this purchase and installation. The business now has said that they have the pellet stove and are requesting the second amount due prior to giving me an estimate of when it will be installed. I requested a refund and was told I need to talk to the manager and I was put on hold. The employee came back on the line saying the manger was unavailable and requested to leave a message for a call back. The employee hung up on me. I called back again leaving a message for a call back which as during my past month of dealing with this business I never received any call back. Basically my pellet stove is being held hostage until I pay the remaining amount due to get a scheduled installation date which no one will tell me an estimate as to when to expect that. This being a key source of the heat supplied for my house if it can’t be installed this winter I need to seek an alternative plan. I fail to understand why a business will not answer phone calls, call you back or go weeks without contact me back to answer my simple questions. Now I can’t even get an answer as to how to receive whatever refund I am intitled to. Thank you

      I purchased a Harman Pellet stove in August 2021. It took them months to install and immediately we had problems - called & called. It took them numerous appointments and months to get the stove working. All the time warranty is running and I'm paying for electric heat because can't use pellet stove. This year its happening again. I have been working with them for 3 weeks. The sent an Emergency Tech out who did not have any parts or tools to look at the stove - guessed it was pellets - we changed pellets. Didn't solve problem. Called them again - set an Emergency appt in one week will send out the same guy without parts. States have to "figure out what is wrong and then Order the part under warranty. " Which means MONTHS without out heat in freezing weather. I have called and complained and they won't fix. They are just running out the warranty. I want the stove replaced at this point because they are not fixing it. My only guess its a lemon, they can't figure out why its not working and so they need to replace it
