I ordered a custom 10'x12' shed from this company on 3/27/23, (Order #******) paying half down, $4,610.74. The shed was delivered on 5/9/23, and the second half was paid with credit card by phone that day. Total paid: $9,221.47. After delivery, as I walked around my property, I discovered the gap shown in the attached photo. It was not visible before the delivery driver left, therefore I signed that I was happy with its placement. I called THAT DAY to report, and was advised my site was not properly prepped, but Karl, the salesman, was clearly shocked by the photo (attached) and said, "that's on us", "he knows better than that". Co-owner Mike said that he would be speaking to the driver's supervisor about the way it was left. Within a week, I could not open the door to the shed, and it remains that way. Following the conversation I had with Mike, I called advised office Manager Sally that I just want to return the shed. I described my conversation with Mike, and she said she "doubted" he said what I said he'd said, (her hysterical alternative is in the attached e-mail). They want to come lift the shed while I prep it "correctly", then drop it back in place. This is not a reasonable solution, and the site was prepped correctly (pics attached). Their second offer is to pick it up and reimburse me, MINUS 15% restocking fee. This building is not safe the way it was left teetering on the corner of a stack of wood on my property and I can not open the door. The delivery driver made no indication that the site was not prepped before moving it on to the site, and two representatives of the company clearly stated that this was not to their standards. Additional to the shed, I ordered a greenhouse from this company on the same date as the shed. 2 full months later and I'm still waiting. I've told the company to pick up the shed ASAP, as I don't want to be responsible for it falling over. I've requested a full refund, but they want my $1,300.
