i contacted farmer insurance by phone on August 15th 2023 and inquired about canceling my auto policy with them because my billing for insurance almost doubled with no explanation and i had made several inquiries but the agent there told she did not know why. that had gone on several months.
my bill went from 117.00 per month to 200.00 even though i had dropped some coverage. so on the 18th of August i cancelled my insurance because i got insurance with aaa for a better rate and the same coverage for under 100.00 a month
so my account online balance was zero, and paid up up thru August 21, 23.
and the office confirmerd that i had no balance owing, zero balance!
so i cancelled my insurance with farmers as of August 18th 2023
But, a week or so later they billed me 177.00 with no explanation.
they still to this day, after numerouse inquiries of what i was being billed for, still have no explanation and now they put it into collection.
i contacted the collection agency and they said that farmers refigured my bill and took away some discounts what?. I told them i was disputing this bill.
    I have had insurance with
farmers over 11 years, never a single claim
and i got aaa insurance for the same coverage, way below what they were charging me.
this is a hardahip for me to pay this amount.
how can you just create an amount when i had a zero balance
    please help me TY
