    Started working with **** on our shirts. We were promised them before the second weekend of august when we had an event we planned on selling them at. The week of **** had stated they were not going to be done on time which had now effected sales is the first problem. Infact they were 3+ weeks late. He did over night them once they were done, but that doesnt change the fact of it not meeting the deadline Now the main issue is he sent us the shirts. When we open the package both our trucks on the shirts (we had **** draw 2 different trucks up we approved the color on them and design) then print out shirts. We open the boxes and ALL of the trucks were not even close to the color we approved. The real was like a bright blue and the maroon was almost a salmon color. I tried contacting **** for 3 weeks to get something resolved. Countless calls texts and emails. FINALLY once **** called me he had explained that the printing process makes the shirts lighter. The problme is with that happening the colors are NOT what we approved then. He seems to keep saying as well that the material of short affects what color the shirt accepts while printing which we were not informed of before hand as well. So my big question is what are we approving if the shirts do not come out the color we approve. This is his job to make this right. Im wanting the correct color for the trucks. Thats a lot of money to spend for not the correct color. I will send what he sent us for designs and what was actually recieved. Its completely different then what we approved and he continues to not respond any more. The only shirts that came the right color are 3 kids shirts we had ordered as well. And **** says thats because its a different printing process. So I know the colors we want can be done so he needs to do his job and correct this error. That was made on his end.

    Thank you for your email.  I find the BBB as a great mediator for us small businesses.  My team here at Six B Apparel was commissioned by ***** dad ***** to create two designs for each of their trucks.  ***** was very easy to work with on the project however our experience with **** wasnt the same.  As you can see with the attached pieces, both jobs were done in the latest Adobe Illustrator software and printed with the state of the art M&R DS-**** Hybrid Printer, one of only four in ***************** right now.  Throughout the process we designed with the direction of both **** and his father that the colors in questions were "teal" and "burgundy" for each respected truck and with every email. (see attached) There was never a mention of a specific color code needed nor desired.  With their particular colors, theyre metallic and screen print doesnt print metallic, it prints half tones to the closest matched color.  This is an industry standard due to metallic painted are on non-permeable surfaces (hard objects) and apparel are nothing but permeable and soak up the ink.  During the process between approving the artwork and printing, my suffered a stroke followed up by a heart attack.  I spoke with both ***** dad ***** and his boss ***** who had paid for the order to let them know the status of the orders.  I had our staff stay late on a Friday evening and come in the next day on Saturday so we could print their orders and get them out first thing Monday morning. As a courtesy, we shipped both orders Next Day Air at my expense at an additional cost to us of $513.45.  I personally printed both orders to make sure everything looked good and I proved side by side comparisons for you of art vs screen print.(see attached) After the order was shipped, my dad's health fell further into decline so I was in and out of the office quite a few times traveling back and forth to ****.  During this time I did my best to keep up with phone calls and answering emails.  I replied to ***** emails as well as my employee did too.  Multiple calls were made to **** however his phone either wasnt on, just rang and no voicemail was able to be left because it was full.  Once I was able to get **** on the phone, we spoke for 37 minutes discussing the process of how printing apparel works with focus on the direct to garment printing that his youth shirts were done with and the screen printing method that his adult shirts were done with.  I educated him how a white base is needed when printing on black t-shirts so that the design doesnt fall into the garment itself.  The type of garment also can alter colors depending on if it is a Ring Spun Cotton, 100% Cotton, Heavy Cotton or **** cotton blend.  The materials react differently to different colors that why a base is needed.   We have a disclaimer that specifically says " All colors presented on screen may not be an exact match with colors in actual products"  on every email signature for that reason (see attached).  With regards to direct to garment printed apparel, that method is the same process as printing a piece of paper where the garment is loaded into the printer and the ink layers itself one on top of another therefore colors may be darker than a screen print version.  This method is primarily used for one off samples and small youth orders.  I mentioned to **** that if he did want closer colors for future orders that we need paint codes to try and cross reference and or possibly even a painted sample sent to us so we could try to match in person with our pantone book.  I thought I cleared up everything with him during that conversation and then he emailed me again with the same questions and demands wanting different answers which unfortunately I wasnt able to change course on any of our answers because then I would be lying or excepting fault when I explained numerous times that we werent.  If somebody says print burgundy or teal and thats what you do and then they get mad that you didnt do it right shade because it was never mentioned, I dont believe thats the fault of the printer.  Ive provided samples of the artwork, side by side comparisons and email disclaimer for reference.  In closing, I lost my dad on August 29th and the client has been nothing but irrational about my "selfishness" to handle some family business and not answer every single call that hes made to me whether its @545am or 915pm.  Im a pretty easy person to work with and accept responsibility when a mistake was made but this time I truly feel that the error isnt with us......

    He is completely lying as I have proof of countless text messages, emails and missed calls going to him and I will also provide phone Records if need be to prove he did not call me multiple times as promised. Agian he did not say anything about metallic colors not printing properly as this is infact the first time I am hearing anything about the metallic colors not printing properly. Im not pleasant to deal with because youre not willing to accept the fact the shirts are not the correct color you had sent us. Based on the pictures I had sent. Also held your printed shirts to the truck and its completely off. Sorry if being an upset customer over shirts that were late and thousands of dollars spent on them were not proper.  So the overnight shipping doesnt mean anything as they were a month late. I am NOT satisfied until the correct color shirts are replaced. Period. Do your job properly.

    I would like to my statements earlier. However his very first statement was not true saying my father had commissioned him for designs. Thats false. I was infact the one who contacted **** first via phone call. My father was not put into play until he needed pictures of the colors. Infact placing the order was not even my father. It was me over my emails. All my father was in charge of was paying him money which was also done. We had an agreement when the money was paid the shirts would be done before the second week of august. They were not. So Im sorry but having to say at $500+ for overnight shipping did not get them to us by the deadline that **** agreed to. In response as well, **** was able to make my color correct on 3 shirts and those were the kids shirts. He had explained thats a different printing process. Which is fine. But that should basically prove my point on hes admitting theres a different printing process and thats why those shirts are different from all the adult sizes. However the kids shirts are actually infact the correct shade of Maroon. So Im my eyes thats absolutely admitting the colors are different. He said he Attempted multiple phone calls to me however it never went through. They will NOT SHOW on my phone records because there was never a call recieved. He claims someone says print teal and thats what you do word for word but that is infact not what he did, he printed a blue. And a salmon color. Never once called him selfish so Im not sure where that is comming from either. That is **** making more things up. **** is actually the one calling me at 9:15 at night or 5:45 in the morning. In fact I have emails from him at midnight or later. That night he called me and spoke for 37 minutes was after 9 pm my time. Thats is not something a reasonable buisness owner would do.

    Here are files showing I never once told him he was selfish in any way. I just wanted my order done on time, as promised and correct. Which was not. Being the consumer dont you think that if the shirt was teal I would be complaining? Dont you think if the shirts were maroon like the kids shirts were I would say anything? How is it he can and spews have the capability with a state of the art printer he claims to make a perfect product but was not able to produce one?

    ** going to leave this last picture here from **** himself in the response. He is completely stating that that the printing process he uses for the kids shirts AND samples is DIFFERENT from the process he uses for all of the adult shirts. He then states how the shirts will accept the colors differently. 

    WHY would you send a picture of a sample that was made from a different printing process then what your actually going to use for the entire adult shirt orders as the youth shirt orders are correct as I have stated all along. The adult shirts are whats different. And he has completely admitted that in this statement.

    This person has been educated many times on the two different printing methods of the adults vs the youth shirts.  I have gone to great lengths to work with his dad on finding out the exact color theyre looking for since none was provided prior to ordering.  **** doesnt have a financial interest in this discuss since he didnt pay for the design nor the shirt order.  I have however spoken with his dad who does have a financial interest at least a dozen times since the order was shipped.  My latest discuss with the dad was on Tuesday of this week.  I would encourage the BBB to reach out to his dad for further information and not rely on the tantrum from the person filing the complaint.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    **** is Misinformed and lying once again. I am ok with any phone call to my father just as much as **** is. I paid for my own design and my father paid for his own design then ***** paid for the t-shirts. Feel free to call ***** as well as he also agrees the color is wrong. I paid my father directly the fee for the design on my shirt since there was no need for each of us to make a payment and would be easier to just have one person dealing with payment. Also with this being said, my father is currently trying to reason with **** as well on how the colors are wrong He is just going about that in a different way, as **** stopped responding to emails and answering phone calls to me. This is why I came to the BBB.  My fathers long term goal as well, is in hopes **** get the correct color shirts starting with some samples, since this seems to be a difficult task for ****. But in the long term goal, he as well is looking for REPLACEMENT of the shirts that were printed the wrong shade.

    Also in note, if **** believes I have not been in contact with my father and ***** as well on this, he is mistaken. All 3 of us agree that everything was good up until the actual color that came out of the printer, where we did go to great lengths to send **** MULTIPLE pictures of our trucks. For the color. So him stating we didnt do that is wrong. As well as the picture I had sent of his final and the finished is way off. **** has stated that the printing process is different for kids shirts and samples that are made. Now why would you send someone a sample of a shirt thats going to be printed a different way as fascinating as the printing process is **** can tell me, my father and ***** 15 more times how it works. Our shirts did not come out the color we approved.

    As much as **** would like to say I should not be involved. He is forgetting I was the first one to speak business and prices with **** and get the ball rolling. I have just as much money involved in this as my father does, and last I am the one that placed the order for BOTH trucks. There was a lot of money shelled out to six-b apparel for our designs and shirts to be printed the wrong shade. And thats the bottom line.
