I specifically informed the company (Inspection LV) to inspect the **** unit specifically. The person I have informed to was *************************. She has informed me that the inspector will do a thorough investigation on the **** system and that I should not worry about it because the inspector was a prior technician of **** with extensive background. The Inspector from the company was *******************. I had mentioned to this person (*****) to please check the **** system. He informs me that ***** has informed him of the matter. We starter outside with the condenser unit. I asked the inspector if the bushes were good for the condenser. ***** informs me its good because it will shade the unit from the sun. Then we go inside. I have asked the inspector to remove a cover from the **** unit and he informs me that the system is working great and there is no need to pull any covers. He explained the outputs and how the numbers are within range. I trusted this inspector because I have no background on **** systems. I had my recent maintenance (09/04/2023) done and Summit **************** company technician removed the cover. Had 6 tiny little bolts and found the system is leaking water in so many places. Summit **************** informs me that the system has been leaking for a while. He also informs that some of the electrical circuit boards have been replaced due to moisture from the leaks. It has also caused some of the metal electrical components to rust. The Technician from Summit Air has informed me that this was a big issue. It's not something they can fix because of the liability of the **** unit leaking. So, it needs to be replaced. He also said that the bushes were too close to the condenser outside. No air flow because the bushes were blocking it. I have uploaded the pictures so you can see the leaks and rust on the components. This is the same cover that I asked the inspector to remove (*******************). Had he removed it, this would have been resolved in the contract in purchasing the condo.
