      I recently purchased a swim spa from Hot Tub Liquidators, and while the spa itself is impressive, the delivery and setup experience left me questioning the company's attention to detail—particularly with the steps provided.
      For a purchase nearing $25,000, I expected the right steps to be included to safely enter and exit the swim spa. Instead, I was given the same steps that are used for a much shorter hot tub, which simply don't work. You’d need to be 6'6" to use them effectively, and I’m not a short person. To safely access the spa, a 3-step stool is necessary, and it’s frustrating that this wasn’t part of the original package. It seems like a no-brainer that the appropriate steps should be factored into the price of the spa. Even if landscaping or custom work is planned later, I expect to enjoy my spa now, not face safety concerns right out of the gate.
      I didn’t work with Ray during this transaction, but I met with him years ago and he’s the reason I initially thought so highly of the company. After this experience, I’m not sure what to think anymore. The lack of communication, delays, and oversights like this make it hard to maintain that same confidence.
      I hope the company re-evaluates how they handle these situations because, for the price, customers deserve a seamless experience, not one that leaves them frustrated.

      Thank You for your swim spa purchase! I am very happy that you returned to us for your purchase and i do believe i recall your name Kavon. I believe that you found a fair and legit issue surrounding the steps in our spa a and swim spa offers. Typically, the client indicates if steps or any other essentials are required during the "client need evaluation process "in the presentation. however, like in your case. that need for a step seemingly changed. Which is fine and normal. ji am just explaining how we got to this current enpass. So, Mark never included those steps on your contract for our fulfillment department. 


      I have no problem honoring you with a FREE three or four step stair system for your spa. if there is a time that you build around the spa and don't need the steps , please kindly return the steps. however, please understand they are yours to own and use for good. i do not expect to not see a return down the road. 


      i want you to enjoy this experience and i hope this apology makes way for future business. if it is possible, please kindly retract any reviews surrounding this issue. i have made an internal sales meeting with my crew to determine future protocol and sales procedures around the step issue. It should be included in my opinion.

      On May 19, 2022 we ordered a replacement spa cover from Hot Tub Liquidators. The cost was $459.64 and we were required to pay in full at the time of order placement. We were advised the lead time would be approximately 4-6 weeks as there was a shortage of the foam filling for the covers. We checked back in 6 weeks and were advised the cover should be on their next shipment within the next week or so. We followed up then and still no cover or date. In the meantime, family circumstances required us to sell our Las Vegas home and move across country to the midwest. Since we no longer own the spa and the cover never came in, we requested a refund for our purchase. I must add the spa size is one of if not the most popular size and the cover is nothing unusual. Hot Tub Liquidators own ad states that they sell new and used replacement covers. They said the best they could do would be: place it on consignment and refund only $300.00 of our money once they sell it, or offer a $200.00 refund for us to just go away. Since they still have not received the cover and it is way past due, I tried reasoning with the owner himself who said he couldn't do any better than the above. We have pages of detailed notes on our correspondence of many phone calls and an in person visit to their facility asking for their help, all to no avail. We feel this business has no ethics and would advise strongly against considering them based on our experience. We are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will be mounting a social media campaign to alert others as well. We want our due full refund and from this point forward, nothing less will make us satisfied or "just go away". Only with a full refund, in the next week will we cease our campaign. It's become personal and unacceptable that they would take our money and hold us hostage. In our minds, a terrible way to run a business. We appeal to Hot Tub Liquidators and to their owner, to refund our money now. True rating is ZERO Stars

      This is an unfair and untrue review.! Please read the review and this response ......
      I contacted Mr. ******* after he reached in request of a refund on his cover order. The cover was custom ordered to his dimensions and corner radius.
      The reason payment in full is required is to protect against customer cancellation and our having to inventory the product. We have no refund ability to our suppliers.
      Instead of saying no refund and no help from us as a result, I kindly offered to alternative paths to protect the lion-share of his order costs in order to help.
      I never indicated or said "just go away" nor would I ever.
      I stand for my return policy and I am proud of our attempt to help by resale or an actual cash refund of a portion of his money back. The last thing I need in inventory of another cover of that size. We have over fifty in stock as I speak. John is frustrated and by his own admission was unexpectedly pulled back East. The ordering process is delayed do to Covid delay

      We are not surprised at the response by Hot Tub Liquidators however; we stand by our original review. We add the fact that we were never told it was a "Special Order" or that there was no returns/no refunds.They were not responsive in returning my countless calls and although they talked about sending the "Consignment Contract", they never did. Their story has changed multiple times and here are the "Options" they offered:Accept cover and give it to the person that purchased your home in good will. I am sure the spa still needs one.
      Accept our offer of a no-time limit consignment (but we will eventually sell it) for a return to you of $300 once sold.
      Sell it back to us for $200 and collect cash now.They state they have over 50 of these in stock now? Why then did they not try and sell us one of those? The order was placed 3 months ago. Delivery was to be in 4-6 weeks. It never happened.

      Yes ,we have OVER 50 7' covers in stock that are allocated and matched to the new spas in stock. The color and radius on all covers changes depending on model yeaR AND MODEL MAKE. THERE IS NO STANDARD. It is EXPECTED and understood across the retail spectrum that a deposit IS WHAT BINDS THE ORDER AND INSURES THAT THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T CANCEL THE SPECIAL ORDER. THUS LEAVING US IN THE LURCH.JOHN'S COVER WAS ORDERED FOR HIM ALONE TO HIS STANDARDS.

      IF JOHN WANTS TO TAKE US UP ON THE OFFER OF $200. PLEASE DIRECT HIM TO THE 1550 RAIDERS WAY SHOWROOM AND COLLECT A CHECK FROM SCOTT. THIS IS PROVIDING JOHN IS WILLING TO REMOVE THE NEGATIVE REMARKS. from BBB. We did nothing wrong but order a cover that was requested.

      For the second time, we stand by our original and factual account and by our secondary response.
      Fact, there was an order placed for a very standard size spa cover and there was zero notification that the order was special, final or non-refundable under any circumstance, written or verbal. Fact, the order was not delivered or available within more than a reasonable time even past what was quoted and due to unfortunate family circumstances, we were forced to relocate to the midwest. We advised the store of our circumstances and respectfully requested to cancel the order for a refund. Fact, the owners response was as previously stated, give it away to new home owners, forfeit the order and the money paid, accept a $200.00 refund IN PERSON ONLY on a $459.64 out of pocket cost, or put it on consignment and hopefully collect $300.00 after they sell it. And may we add, the above are now based on US REMOVING the BBB COMPLAINT. In our opinion, shop anywhere but here. Very unprofessional.
