They are not a company to put your trust in. After one year dealing with this company they still surprise me with their incompetence. They can only send one delivery to your home a week, even if they make a mistake. If they need a new script for your loved ones supplies and they can’t contact your physician, they don’t call you to contact them. I called on the fourth day with a different number for the physician (I called them because I needed his supplies) because they never called me). I was told now he has to wait fore Medicare to approve the new script which will take at least a week, which means he doesn’t get his Jevity (liquid food for people on a feeding tube) until approved. Then I was told I have to pay out of pocket until then. This process should have been started 2 weeks before this happened. I am now looking for another company to work with as Total Infusion Care really doesn’t care at all. They want their money but they don’t care about their patients. You would be very surprised at other stories I could tell you. Some Company should be monitoring this company as they should not be dealing with any patients until they are taught the proper way to care for them.

    Rafaela,
We apologize for the inconvenience; our management team was never notified about the situation. We understand how frustrating obtaining a new prescription and getting it covered by insurance in a timely manner can be. We strive to make your experience with us a great one and we do everything we can to make sure that our patients don’t go without their medications or enteral feedings. We appreciate your feedback and apologize again for the inconvenience. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to us at 702-778-8880. Thank you.

The coordination between the discharge case manager and this business was unsettling from the start. They wanted to release my daughter on two, two week pic line antibiotics without confirmation of the medication delivery time and training to administer the medication. They sent me medication to my house at 7pm that was due at 9pm and expected me to know how to do it by myself. I refused to be discharged like this so we stayed another night to allow for proper coordination. This random man shows up to the hospital the next morning came into my daughter’s hospital room and was looking around for a fridge to put her medication. I thought he was an Uber food delivery man in the wrong place at first but he was sent there with 1 dose of medication because he was told the hospital wanted my daughter discharged and this medication was stopping her release. Nothing was well communicated from the pharmacy or the hospital. Then when we got down to the last three doses of medication, we found they had expired the day before. The pharmacy told us it’s ok to administer this expired medication and I refused. So I wanted to pickup new medication and they told me to either pick it up or have it delivered late in the evening. We called to let them know we would pick it up for the 2pm afternoon dose and wanted to make sure they didn’t close for lunch. They said they would be open until 5pm. I came down only to be told they didn’t have her medication ready and they could prepare it in 20 minutes. I waited for an hour and still no medication and the 2pm dose was late administered this business doesn’t seem to have regaurd for the timelines of medication administration yet they business name says “ responsibility for life” yeah right! The woman pharmacist had a problem referring to my daughter by her first name. This place makes you feel like a number not a person.
