In November 2020, I vacated the unit. The premises was cleaned. After move out, I received my deposit back but noticed I was charged $500 for things the landlord is responsible for. I called out the landlord on it. I said what I said and let it go. I wrote a review and spoke truthfully about my experience. Months later the company responded (******** or ***) by calling me names. They called me a troll. I wasnt trolling anyone. I wrote a review as I always do about businesses I frequent or ones popping up on my timeline. Now fast forward, it's 2021. I'm looking for a rental that this company managed. I let bygones be bygones. This company had repeatedly ignore my inquires. I then sent an email apologizing. ******** finally responds in a positive tone. But ultimately said she can't work with me because I "threatened" her livelihood. Not physical violence but with words. Sounds personal, right? Right! Fast forward, it's 2022. Still looking for a rental. I assumed no grudges were being held. I moved on, again. So this time I actually applied for a unit. I paid $203. I've waited weeks and no contact was made regarding the application. So today (8/31) I called the office and spoke with *****************. I asked what's the status of my application. She was talking to me as if I was a third party. She said I was told that they didn't want to work me with me. True but still didn't think 2 years later a grudge was still held. So this company took my money KNOWING full well they didn't want to work with me! They took my money KNOWING my name and still claim to have performed a credit check. Why? Why would you do that? No one reached out to say if application was denied or approved. It has been weeks. They were NOT going to. So to justify taking my money knowing and being fully aware that they don't want to work with me, ignoring my emails, messages and texts, saying I'm confrontational or disrespectful or whatever, you allegedly "pull" my credit reports and claim you can't refund me!
